<p>In a mid-air incident, chaos erupted aboard an IndiGo flight travelling from Guwahati to Agartala as a 41-year-old passenger attempted to open the aircraft's emergency door.</p>

<p>The individual involved was allegedly intoxicated&nbsp;at the time, and was hard to calm down, further intensifying the already tense situation, as reported by the Free Press Journal.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A video capturing the incident&nbsp;went viral on social media platforms. The footage showed crew members and fellow passengers grappling with the man who later appeared to have lost consciousness.</p>

<p>He added that the laboratory tests have shown that “there is no evidence of any assembly or manipulation of the skulls”.</p>

<p>“[They] belong to a single skeleton that has not been joined to other pieces,” he said, reports The Telegraph.</p>

<p>He further said that his team found that one “was alive, was intact, was biological and was in gestation,” pointing to large lumps inside the alleged alien’s abdomen, which he suggested could be eggs.</p>

<p>The train was running between Tokyo and Nagoya during the game. Nozomi Shinkansen train was running at high speeds of up to 285 kilometres per hour when Japanese wrestlers Minoru Suzuki and Sanshiro Takagi were fighting inside the train.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to a team of Australia-based researchers, the pink diamonds arrived on the surface around 1.3 billion years ago when one of the Earth’s earliest supercontinents, Nuna, fell apart.</p>

<p>The research published in the journal Nature Communications indicates that ancient continental junctures may be hiding more of these colourful gems.</p>

<p>“While the continent that would become Australia didn’t break up, the area where Argyle is situated was stretched, including along the scar, which created gaps in the Earth’s crust for magma to shoot up through to the surface, bringing with it pink diamonds,” said lead study author Dr Hugo Olierook, a research fellow at Curtin University’s John de Laeter Centre in Perth, Australia, in a news release.</p>

<p>Australia accounts for more than 90 per cent of pink stones formed on Earth. They come from the Argyle mine in Western Australia, which was one of the world’s most productive diamond deposits until it ceased operations in November 2020.</p>

<p>Many of Argyle’s diamonds have a browny hue. But out of every thousand gems, a few would pop up in the rarer and more valuable pink.</p>

<p>Usually, diamonds are found in the middle of ancient continents, within volcanic rocks that have rapidly transported diamonds from deep inside Earth’s interior to the surface.</p>

<p>At Argyle, this process occurred around 1.8 billion years ago when Western Australia and Northern Australia collided, turning the once-colourless diamonds pink hundreds of miles below Earth’s crust.</p>

<p>“Argyle is at the suture of two of these ancient continents, and these edges are often covered by sand and soil, leaving the possibility that similar pink diamond-bearing volcanoes still sit undiscovered, including in Australia,” Olierook said.</p>

Posting the video, Suter wrote: "Yesterday, we were in the West Coast National Park in South Africa. Fortunately, we were able to rescue three seals that were entangled in a net. In this video, you can only see two of them - so grateful they all made it."</p>

<p>"It was a very tangible reminder of how important it is to educate ourselves, clean up our beaches and work to ensure plastic and things like this are not in our oceans. There is so much plastic and other waste, I can't imagine what animals go through," he added.</p>

<p>As per World Animal Protection, an international non-profit organisation that has been working for animal welfare for over 50 years, thousands of marine animals die due to human fishing gear every year.</p>

<p>"Every year, over 136,000 whales, dolphins, seals and turtles are caught in ghost gear – lost, discarded or abandoned fishing equipment."</p>

<p>"A staggering 640,000 tonnes, the equivalent of 52,000 London double decker buses, or 12 Sydney Harbour Bridges of ghost gear is left in our oceans annually. Some of these nets are bigger than football pitches."</p>

<p>As per the animal welfare organisation, fishing gears that are made to "capture and kill" marine animals "continue&nbsp;to do this after being left in the ocean."</p>

<p>The Tasmanian tiger, which had gone extinct almost 100 years ago, may again roam on the face of the Earth as scientists have recovered the RNA sample that can help resurrect the carnivorous animal, officially known as a thylacine.</p>

<p>Ribonucleic acid (RNA) is a genetic material present in all living cells and has structural similarities to DNA.</p>

<p>Scientists plan to harness the advances in genetics, ancient DNA retrieval and artificial reproduction to bring back the extinct animal.</p>

<p>They&nbsp;recovered the RNA from the desiccated skin and muscle of a Tasmanian tiger stored since 1891 at a museum in Sweden.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“We would strongly advocate that first and foremost we need to protect our biodiversity from further extinctions, but unfortunately we are not seeing a slowing down in species loss,” said Andrew Pask, a professor at the University of Melbourne and head of its Thylacine Integrated Genetic Restoration Research Lab, who is leading the initiative, reports CNN.</p>

<p>“This technology offers a chance to correct this and could be applied in exceptional circumstances where cornerstone species have been lost,” he added.</p>

<p>The initiative is being undertaken through collaboration with Texas-based Colossal Biosciences, founded by tech entrepreneur Ben Lamm and Harvard Medical School geneticist George Church.</p>

<p>Both have spent nearly $15 million to bring back the woolly mammoth in an altered form.</p>

<p>AI researchers at Microsoft have committed a grave error, as revealed in a recent report by cloud security company Wiz. The Microsoft AI research team inadvertently disclosed a massive&nbsp;38 terabytes of the company's confidential data.</p>

<p>Among the exposed data were complete backups of two employees' computers, housing sensitive personal information such as passwords for Microsoft services, secret keys, and over 30,000 internal Microsoft Teams messages from more than 350 Microsoft employees, reported Mashable.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>So, how did this&nbsp;incident occur?</strong></h2>

<p>According to the report, the Microsoft AI team uploaded a repository of training data containing open-source code and AI models designed for image recognition. Users stumbling upon this Github repository acquired&nbsp;a link from Azure, Microsoft's cloud storage service, enabling them to download these models.</p>

<p>However, a critical flaw cropped up:&nbsp;the link provided by Microsoft's AI team granted visitors unrestricted access to the entire Azure storage account. This meant that visitors not only had the ability to browse through all the content&nbsp;within the account but also had the power to upload, overwrite, or delete files at their discretion.</p>

<p>Wiz said this vulnerability stemmed from an Azure feature known as Shared Access Signature (SAS) tokens, which essentially offers a signed URL for accessing Azure Storage data. The SAS token could have been configured with specific limitations governing which files could be accessed. The link in question had been configured with full access rights.</p>

<p>Compounding the issue, Wiz noted that this data had seemingly been exposed since 2020. This extended period of exposure significantly amplified the potential risks associated with the breach.</p>

A 12-year-old boy Austen saved the life of his 30-year-old registered behaviour technician’s by using the CPR technique he had picked up from the Netflix series <em>Stranger Things</em>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>What's more heartening is that his mother, who was not so proud of his child watching the series, also gave him a pat on his back appreciating his actions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Amid&nbsp;heavy downpour and flash flooding in Atlanta on September 14, two locals emerged as heroes who rescued a trapped driver. Atlanta Police Officer Rayando Bryan and Atlanta Fire Rescue Department Captain Terrance Simon are being hailed for their courageous act.</p>

<p>The water was so deep it lifted the sedan off the ground and made it impossible to open the door, both officers said Monday. Another woman riding in the driver’s vehicle managed to get out before the water got too high, authorities said.</p>

<p>In the video, the first responders can be seen surrounded by trash and floating debris as they work to free the driver of the flooded sedan from the rising floodwater. They eventually pulled the man out to safety.</p>

<p>Footage from security cameras outside the public safety centre showed just how quickly the streets filled with water as the storm raged. It came rushing in like a river, flooding the parking lot and lifting orange parking barricades. Several city vehicles in the lot were stranded, too.</p>
