<p>It is also the epicentre of the coronavirus and there is a strong chance that people travelling in and out of Wuhan may carry the virus. In the last three weeks alone, the number of cases has gone up from 50 to now more than 17 thousand.</p>

<p>The Wuhan virus has killed over 450 people so far. models created by experts suggest that this coronavirus can infect as many as 100 thousand people or even more.</p>

<p>Now is the time to act and if world leaders are serious about containing this outbreak, they must stop Chinese workers from returning to their offices.</p>

<p>Malaysia is already doing it. The Malaysian government has imposed a temporary travel ban, citizens from Wuhan and Hubei are not allowed to come to Malaysia for now. Other Belt and Road nations must follow suit.</p>

<p>Furthermore, for the future, firm regulation must be put in place to tackle risks associated with BRI.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Since the coronavirus broke ground in the city of Wuhan last year, more than 360 people have been killed in the country alone, with one death reported outside of the country in the Philippines.</p>

<p>For people to be able to board the flight, medical clearance after undergoing screening was necessary. Naturally, those with fever failed the screening and shall continue to receive treatment in China.</p>

Wuhan evacuation: 650 Indians brought back, 6 with fever 'snubbed'

<p>Marise Payne, Australia's Foreign Minister today said that 243 of their citizens were evacuated from Wuhan in a government aircraft.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Wuhan is the epicentre of the mysterious SARS-like virus which has already killed 361 people worldwide, with the number of cases rising everyday.</p>

<p>According to sources, the people will be quarantined in a detention centre on ''Christmas Island'', which is situated in the Indian Ocean outside of Australia's northwest coast.</p>

<p>The Chinese city of Wuhan has been quarantined and is under complete lockdown after the emergence of coronavirus. The first death from the virus outside of Chinese territory was reported in the Philippines yesterday.</p>

<p>Authorities have detected around 48,800 people returning to Wenzhou from Wuhan and other "key areas" in Hubei, state broadcaster CCTV said.</p>

<p>Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that '' World Health Organisation has not recommended any sort of restrictions regarding travel or trade with China''.</p>

<p>Beijing's envoy to New Delhi, Sun Weidong also tweeted about the matter.</p>
