<p>This comes after the oil production cuts were first announced after a June meeting of the 23-nation OPEC+ alliance, which also includes Russia. This recent announcement also comes after a statement in early August said that the cut would last through September and possibly “deepened”, but that was not the case on Tuesday.&nbsp;</p>

Notably, while Saudi Arabia has reported its daily capacity as 12 million bpd, currently their daily production stands at approximately nine million bpd.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Russia also said that it would extend its oil export cuts of 300,000 barrels per day until the end of 2023 to “maintain stability” on markets, as per AFP.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announcing the extension said that they would also review the cuts monthly and take a call on whether to deepen them or whether production should be increased “depending on the global market situation.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>Brent crude futures rose by $1.04 or 1.2 per cent and settled at $90.04 a barrel, closing above the $90 mark for the first time since November 2022, according to Reuters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While investors had expected Russia and Saudi Arabia to extend the voluntary cuts into October, a three-month extension came as a shock.</p>

<p>“These bullish moves significantly tighten the global oil market and can only result in one thing: higher oil prices worldwide,” said Jorge Leon, senior vice president at Rystad Energy, as quoted by Reuters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A drought in the US state of Texas has unveiled a remarkable discovery of more than 70 dinosaur tracks previously concealed beneath the dried-out Paluxy Riverbed. The Paluxy River, typically coursing through Dinosaur Valley State Park, located roughly 90 minutes south of Dallas, is renowned for its dinosaur-related attractions, media reports said. The recently exposed tracks belong to two distinct dinosaur species. The first is a carnivorous theropod closely related to the iconic T. rex, identified as the Acrocanthosaurus. <p>Experts emphasised the importance of clarifying that the drought did not reveal perfectly preserved tracks.</p>

<p>Instead, volunteers had to painstakingly remove sediment, sand, and gravel that covered and filled the tracks.</p>

<p>Paleontologist Glen Kuban, with over four decades of experience working in the park and the surrounding area, reportedly told CNN, “It’s important to clarify that the drought does not magically unveil tracks in pristine condition. … It takes many volunteers many days — in this case weeks — to remove the sediment covering and filling the tracks."</p>

<p>In an audio transmission from the cockpit&nbsp;posted on X, a pilot can be heard telling air traffic control, ''This is a biohazard issue. We've had a passenger who's had diarrhoea all the way through the airplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta."</p>

<p>The person responsible for the incident has not yet been identified. After returning to Atlanta, the aircraft underwent a comprehensive cleaning, allowing passengers to another&nbsp;plane for their journey to Barcelona. This resulted in the flight being delayed by eight hours compared to its original schedule, according to Flightradar24.</p>
