She added that she "fired that publicist."</p>

'Days of Thunder' was not a box office success when it was released and reviewers gave it mediocre to unfavourable reviews. However, having revived and modernised 1986's Top Gun with 2022's smash Top Gun: Maverick, the actor believes he can perform a similar feat with his racing drama. There are certain factors like the script that the studio is looking for and "Cruise is about to start shooting the Revenant filmmaker Alejandro G. Inarritu's mysterious next film for Warner Bros./Legendary, developing a Doug Liman movie for Universal that's set in actual space, and he's developing a sequel to Maverick (which Cruise and Paramount both consider a top priority)," according to The Hollywood Reporter. "He's talking [to Paramount] about Top Gun and Days of Thunder," informed a studio insider. "It's going to be what comes together first in terms of a script. It depends on the idea and, ultimately, the script." "I don't think a Days of Thunder sequel is a terrible idea," added the Paramount source. "You might have said that revisiting Top Gun was a terrible idea. I wouldn't discount it," as per The Hollywood Reporter. 'Days of Thunder' is a 1990 sports action drama film produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Tony Scott. The film stars Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Robert Duvall, Randy Quaid, Cary Elwes, Caroline Williams, and Michael Rooker. It also features appearances by real-life NASCAR racers, such as Richard Petty, Rusty Wallace, Neil Bonnett, and Harry Gant. Starry night! Tom Cruise, Liam Hemsworth, other stars attend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in London

<p>Tom Cruise surprised everyone with his dancing skills at Victoria Beckham's 50th bash recently. The actor who is known for his action films, and high-energy antics in public spaces showed off his lighter side by hitting the dance floor at the bash.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The actor reportedly impressed guests with break-dancing moves, including the splits. According to a report in the Daily Mail, guests were “absolutely dumbfounded” by Cruise’s unexpected dance skills. Cruise donned an all-black tuxedo for the occasion.<br />
<br />
“Everyone was most surprised by the fact Tom Cruise was there. He seemed the most exuberant of everyone,” an attendee told the Mirror.</p>

This one is for the '90s kids. On Saturday (Apr 20), the British girl band Spice Girls reunited in London's members-only club Oswald's to celebrate Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday. The party was a star-studded one with Victoria's celebrity pals including Eva Longoria and Tom Cruise arriving, dressed in their glamorous best. The high point of the night was when the Spice Girls took to the dance floor to dance together to their hits. Geri Halliwell-Turner aka Ginger Spice arrived at the party with Posh Spice (Beckham) in a strapless white dress with bow details. Mel B (Scary Spice) stepped out in a bright red gown, and seemingly giving a nod to her Spice Girls days — and specifically, her affinity for animal prints — with a pair of leopard-print heels and a matching shoulder bag. Emma Bunton or Baby Spice wore an off-shoulder tuxedo gown in black and white while Mel C or Sporty Spice looked stunning in a black strapless body-hugging gown. Victoria's husband, footballer David Beckham captured a video of the Spice Girls doing their routine step to one of their hits, "Stop". The video was shared by Victoria on Instagram and shows an awestruck David Beckham marveling at the girls. David even lip-synced with the track. The video shows the five women dancing in sync, each taking their original positions from the music video as "Stop" played over the loudspeakers. As the song played at the venue, the Spice Girls raised their arms and made the iconic ‘stop’ gesture with their hands, perfectly executing the dance routine. David posted it with a caption, “I mean come on x @victoriabeckham @melaniecmusic @officialmelb @emmaleebunton @gerihalliwellhorner." According to multiple media reports, the duo have grown close in the past few weeks but are careful not to get clicked together to maintain their privacy. Sources have told The Daily Mail, “Tom has been staying the night at Elsina’s apartment, which as you can imagine, is a very beautiful place. They enjoy hanging out together and despite their wealth, do many things that normal couples do.” Both Cruise and 36-year-old Khayrova, reportedly, attended the dinner in support of London’s Air Ambulance Charity where Prince William was the guest of honour. Friends of the couple have stated that they spend much of their time at Khayrova’s multimillion-dollar apartment in Knightsbridge, London. On many occasions, they dined privately at several exclusive London restaurants. The two sparked romance rumours first when they were spotted canoodling at a party in London in December 2023. "They were inseparable, clearly a couple. He seemed to be besotted with her,” an eyewitness told the Daily Mail at the time. One of the loveliest people I've met: Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham heaps praise on Tom Cruise

<p>Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has spoken in support of his agent Maha Dakhil who was asked to step down from her leadership role at talent agency CAA after she shared pro-Palestine posts on Instagram.&nbsp;Maha was relieved of her duties as co-chief of the motion pictures department but was allowed to remain an agent after her client Tom Cruise&nbsp;made it known to CAA that he was backing her.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
As per&nbsp;reports, Tom Cruise met with Maha Dakhil at her CAA office on November 15. According to sources,&nbsp;Tom 'took the rare step of going in person to show support for his embattled agent'.<br />
<br />
<strong>What did Maha Dakhil's post say?</strong><br />
<br />
Maha Dakhil, one of talent agency CAA's top agents, reposted a few posts in support of Palestine on her Instagram stories. One post stated, "What’s more heartbreaking than witnessing genocide? Witnessing the denial that genocide is happening.” Her posts had created a lot of buzz on social media and she faced major backlash. Eventually, Maha resigned from the agency’s board after she reposted an image on Instagram that read, in part, “You’re currently learning who supports genocide.” She had added in the caption, “That’s the line for me.”<br />
<br />
After facing backlash from within the agency and also rival agencies, Maha Dakhil had to delete both images. She even made a public apology and said, “I made a mistake with a repost in my Instagram Story, which used hurtful language. Like so many of us, I have been reeling with heartbreak. I pride myself on being on the side of humanity and peace."&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Others facing the brunt for posting on the Israel-Hamas war</strong><br />
<br />
This is not the first incident where Hollywood has reacted harshly to pro-Palestine posts. The Hollywood talent agency UTA dropped Susan Sarandon as a client after she spoke at a pro-Palestine rally recently.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The Oscar-winning actor attended several rallies in support of Palestine and drew criticism for saying, “There are a lot of people afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country.”<br />
<br />
In remarks captured on video, Susan Sarandon encouraged others to keep speaking up in support of Palestinians in the Israel-Hamas war.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
Actress Melissa Barrera was dropped from the new sequel of <em>Scream</em> after she shared posts in support of Palestine. Melissa shared one post in which she accused Israel of “genocide and ethnic cleansing”. She shared another from Jewish Currents magazine about distorting “the Holocaust to boost the Israeli arms industry.”&nbsp;</p>
