Media reports mentioned that one male student brought the crisps to school and around 30 students ate them. He loved the "super spicy" chips when he first tried them.&nbsp;

The student said the chips were purchased by his older brother and he brought them to the school "just for fun".&nbsp;

The students who were admitted to the hospital said their mouth and stomach were in pain after consuming the snack, but were conscious and treated for minor symptoms.&nbsp;

The maker of the snack, Isoyama Corp, issued an apology in an online statement and wished the students a speedy recovery.&nbsp;

On its website, the manufacturer wrote on July 17: "We apologise to our customers and other concerned parties for causing a great deal of inconvenience."&nbsp;

The snack called "R18 Curry Chips" comes with a warning for those under the age of 18, and those with high blood pressure and a weak stomach, to not consume it.&nbsp;

It further advises consumers to not consume the snack all on one's own, since it could cause diarrhoea.&nbsp;

As quoted by the news agency Reuters, Tae Tsutaki, who is an IT company worker, said, "It (the package of snack) forbids those below 18 years old from eating it, so they (high school kids) shouldn't have eaten it."

"I saw on the news that one of the high school students apologised. I'm glad nobody died, I think they should be more cautious in the future," Tae added.&nbsp;

These organoids are experimental model tissue in which human stem cells are grown into 3D developmental brain-mimicking structures. The physiological connections were built via axonal bundles, which is similar to how regions are connected in the living human brain.

“Animal studies are limited by differences between species in brain structure and function, and brain cells grown in the lab tend to lack the characteristic connections of cells in the human brain,” said University of Tokyo’s Dr Yoshiho Ikeuchi and colleagues.

“What’s more, we are increasingly realizing that these interregional connections, and the circuits that they create, are important for many of the brain functions that define us as humans,” they added.

The researchers stimulated the axonal bundles using a technique known as optogenetics. It was observed that the organoids were affected by these changes for some time as the organoid activity was altered.

A knife-wielding woman unleashed a stabbing spree on four individuals on Wednesday (Jan 3) in a train at Akihabara Station in the Japanese capital city of Tokyo, media reports said citing police authorities.

At least three of four people caught in the unexpected incident on the Yamanote loop line were injured.&nbsp;Fortunately, none of them are facing life-threatening injuries.&nbsp;

Notably, the Yamanote loop line is a key route that links all the main stations in Tokyo. It is also one of the busiest routes in the city and all of its 30 stations, except for two, connect to other railway or subway lines.

Japanese police said&nbsp;that a woman had brandished a knife on a train on the key transportation route in the city. The police received an emergency call just before 11 pm local time (1400 GMT) regarding the incident.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson reportedly mentioned that the woman was taken into custody.
