<p>Explaining how&nbsp;many women want to do things independently these days, Navya said, "For example, today, if you take a girl out on a date and you offer to pay, some people get offended by that. Because women now feel they’re equally…" But before she could complete her sentence, Jaya chimed in, saying, "How stupid of those women. You should let the men pay."</p>

<p>Navya continued to explore the issue, questioning where the line should be drawn between chivalry and independence. She asked if anyone had been in a situation where they had been chivalrous, but a woman had insisted she could do things herself.</p>

<p>"No, but I’m saying these are things that happen. That ‘Oh we can open the door for ourselves. You don’t need to open it for us.’ So, where do you draw that line? Are you opening doors for people? He explained that as long as actions were done out of politeness and a desire to help, rather than to assert dominance, they would not be perceived negatively. He stressed that the intent behind gestures like opening doors or offering to pay for meals was crucial, as it could determine whether they were seen as chivalrous or toxic.</p>

<p>He said, "As long as you’re doing it to be polite, and not show ‘I’m the man,’ you can’t go wrong. If you’re opening the door not to be like, ‘I’m the one opening the door’ instead you’re doing it because ‘I want to help you,’ it’s never gonna come across the wrong way."</p>

Interrupting Navya, Jaya said, "Educated women also have double standards, which is so sad. I want to say it sometimes but do not feel good about saying it, but women are their own enemies."</p>

<p>During the podcast, Navya also spoke about some women trying to pull other women down and shared what she feels about it. "I feel like even though we are trying to achieve the same thing, the same goal, we are all trying to be successful, we are still trying to one-up each other and put other women down for the sake of feeling better. I don't know why that happens. I don't know why, it's a collective thing that we all need to do. We all need to work and be nice, and it's not just one woman's success, it has to be everyone's together," said Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter.</p>

<p>During their conversation, Shweta said that women are mostly judged on how good they are as homemakers but nobody gives much attention to their professional growth, which she feels is quite discouraging. "Women have always got their value from the number of children they have if they make a good wife, if they make a good mother," added Shweta.</p>

<p>Comparing women and men, Jaya said&nbsp;that women often dress up for other women as they care too much about what others will think. However, men have different criteria. "Women dress for each other, men dress for the women," said Jaya.</p>

<p>Asserting that society is influenced more by men and the social system works in their favour, the 24-year-old entrepreneur said, "We do live in a world that's mostly designed for men. We've kind of almost adapted to the world that we live in but imagine if it was built more to our comfort," shared Navya.</p>

<p>Adding to the conversation, Shweta said that if a woman demands for equal pay at her workplace, it is completely justified. "Equal Pay is not an unreasonable ask," she said.</p>

In attendance were stars like Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Karan Johar, Bhumi Pednekar among others. And while everyone looked their best, it was debutant Sara Ali Khan who stole the limelight with her dance on the song 'Saath Samunder Paar'.</p>

<p>The young actress, whose debut film <em>Kedarnath</em> is yet to get a release date, wore a white and silver saree for the wedding and danced on the famous song amid cheering crowd.&nbsp;</p>
