Karan Johar kickstarts 'Koffee With Karan 6' with Saif Ali Khan and his daughter Sara

Karan Johar will soon be back with another season of his hit TV show ‘Koffee With Karan’, in which the filmmaker will return as the charming host who takes all Bollywood celebrities for a ride with his quirky one-liners and tongue-in-cheek questions.

Like always, the show is said to have the most entertaining guests on the show answering questions that everyone wants answers to, but can’t ask. We told you earlier that Janhvi Kapoor will make her debut on the show with brother Arjun Kapoor, in what will be an interesting episode to watch. Apart from the above two, reports also suggest that Saif Ali Khan will come on the show with daughter Sara Ali Khan. Also read: When Sara Ali Khan lost her cool at a photographer

Sara is Saif’s daughter from first marriage. She is the daughter of Amrita Singh, a famous actress of her time. Saif is now married to Kareena Kapoor and has a baby boy named Taimur Ali Khan.

As reported in a tabloid: "Since the latest season will air before her debut film will hit the screens, this will be the first time that the audience will get a peek into what Sara is like. Karan feels that the episode, complete with witty banter and fun questions, will be a great way to introduce the youngster to viewers."

"The duo has been briefed to expect hardball questions from Karan. He intends to tap into all aspects of Sara's life- from growing up in a broken marriage to forming a bond with Kareena Kapoor Khan and little Taimur," the source further added in the report.

The episode featuring Sara and Saif is said to air around the release of her film ‘Simmba’. 'Simmba': Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan's first look revealed as they start shooting

Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara has been a witness to a rough start to her Bollywood career as her debut film “Kedarnath” continues to create problems. After the fallout between the makers of the film, director Abhishek Kapoor’s production house Guy In The Sky Pictures has now dragged her to court over date issues.

Seeing that it could negatively impact daughter’s career even before it takes a flight, Saif came to her rescue and is now negotiating between the parties for an out of court settlement.

The Kedarnath producers moved the Mumbai High Court to direct her that Sara complete her commitment with the first film before moving on to any other and is also demanding Rs 5 crore in damages.

On Sara’s part, she went on and signed other films like Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar’s “Simmba” opposite Ranveer Singh as there were major production rifts that delayed the film. She had agreed to shoot “Kedarnath” but on being informed that the shoot would stretch through May till July 5, her agent said she would not be available in June since she has to go for another film, which according to the suit is a “breach” of the agreement.

Saif, has now convinced Abhishek Kapoor and party to discuss the matter with KJo and Rohit Shetty outside the court and find out a solution. Thus the case that had to be heard today in court might just get settled outside.

Homi Adajania will now be directing the sequel to Hindi Medium, which originally starred Irrfan Khan and Pakistani actress Saba Qamar in a hard-hitting and emotional narrative of an important social issue.

Adajania explains the upcoming movie as an "amusing yet emotional" film starring Irrfan Khan in the lead again. Meanwhile, there are reports that Saif Ali Khan's teenage daughter Sara Ali Khan is being considered to star opposite Irrfan.

In a statement, Adajania said: "I ambled into Dinoo's (Dinesh Vijan) room and he was sitting down to a narration. I had enjoyed the first one (Hindi Medium) and the way these writers have taken the narrative forward is very clever. So yeah, I pretty much gatecrashed the narration and it was so engaging and hilarious that I told him I'd be happy to direct it if he had no director attached to the project. It's been a while since I've found any material so amusing yet emotional."

The sequel will be produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films who said, "Homi doesn't make films very often as he refuses to do stuff that doesn't bowl him over. Feels like my film is releasing: Saif Ali Khan on daughter Sara's acting debut

Sara Ali Khan' s Bollywood debut is highly anticipated one. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter has been working hard for her debut in tinsel town for a while now. She has already started filming for her new film Kedarnath which also features Sushant Singh Rajput and is being directed by Abhishek Kapoor.

The crew recently completed the first schedule of the shoot in Uttrakhand and are currently in Mumbai where a set has been created for the film.

Now, it's no ordinary set as it has cost the makers a whopping Rs 7 crores. A report in DNA states that the set has been created in Filmcity in Mumbai and looks quite authentic.

“They have replicated the entire holy city at a whopping cost. A model of the Kedarnath temple has also been designed," a source has been quoted as saying.

The film is based on the Uttrakhand flash floods that took place a few years ago. Filming of the flood scenes could not be possible at the actual site as the city has recently redeveloped itself, which is why the set had to be reconstructed in Mumbai.

Set in pilgrimage site Kedarnath, the film has Sushant Singh Rajput playing a tour guide.

A few months back the makers had revealed the first look of Sara Ali Khan from the film. The image had instantly gone viral. In fact, both Abhishek Kapoor and his wife Pragya Yadav have been sharing photos of the lead pair from the sets for a while, increasing our curiosity level.
