<p>Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, said on Monday (Jan 22) that now the holy city of Ayodhya "won't echo with gunshots" or "witness curfew" as he addressed gathering after the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled at Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple. CM Adityanath recalled the centuries-long struggle to make this day a reality.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Alluding to the fatal firing on 'kar sevaks' (devotees) during the Ram Temple Movement,&nbsp;the chief minister said, "Bullets will never be fired here now. Instead, Ram devotees will get laddoos." He added that, "Now no one will dare to stop the Panchkosi, 14 Kosi and 84 Kosi parikrama in Ayodhya."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Now there will be Deepotsav and Ramotsav here. Shri Ram's name 'Sankirtan' will echo in the streets because the establishment of Ram Lalla here is the announcement of Ram Rajya," Adityanath&nbsp;said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He added that his soul feels happy as the temple has been constructed at the same place for which the resolution was taken by generations of devotees.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Everyone has Lord Ram in their mind, and their eyes are filled with tears of joy and satisfaction. This is a proud day for India. This is the beginning of 'Ram Rajya'. It seems we have entered the Treta Yuga," he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is probably the first unique instance where a majority section of the society in their own country had to battle at so many levels for the construction of temple at the birthplace of their own deity," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Monday, the magnificent Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir was unveiled with thousands gathered to celebrate the auspicious day. It is constructed in a traditional Nagara style and its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the rituals at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple.&nbsp;</p>

UP CM Yogi Adityanath says Ayodhya ‘won’t echo with gunshots’ now, nor ‘witness curfew’

<p>Superstar Chiranjeevi participated in the&nbsp;Ram Mandir&nbsp;consecration ceremony with his wife Surekha and son Ram Charan. The Telugu star is among the numerous prominent celebrities who have been invited to the auspicious ceremony.</p>

<p>The actor was captured at the Hyderabad airport on Monday with his family before heading to the sacred city of Ayodhya. Speaking to ANI, Chiranjeevi expressed his joy as he went on to say that he feels like Lord Hanuman has personally invited him.&nbsp;</p>

‘Ram Aayenge’ in Lata Mangeshkar’s voice: AI-created version of song goes viral on social media

<p>Aarti Shah, 26, sat nervously&nbsp;in the waiting area of a private gynecological clinic in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, ready to welcome her baby on January 22, the same day as the grand consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Both Aarti and her husband Nilesh, 30, IT professionals,&nbsp;deliberately chose this date, considering it akin to the auspicious birth of Lord Ram.</p>

<p>"We're unaware of the baby's gender, but since a C-section was our only option, we picked Jan 22 as the D-day," the couple shared with WION.</p>

<p>Given a one-week window by our doctor as Aarti's 39th week approaches its end, we feel fortunate that Jan 22 falls within that timeframe, they said.</p>

<p>"<em>Sab yahi keh rahe hain ki Ram lalla aa rahe hain humare ghar </em>(Everyone is saying that Lord Ram himself is coming to our home in the form of this baby)," Shah beamed&nbsp;with happiness.</p>

<p>With the Ram Temple consecration excitement soaring, there's a surge in enthusiasm for <em>"Mahurat"</em> deliveries and scheduled C-sections. Many&nbsp;soon-to-be parents aspire to welcome their babies on specific days and times advised by astrologers, thinking&nbsp;that would usher in good fortune for their child.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I received numerous requests from expectant parents for deliveries scheduled for tomorrow (Jan 22), but as a doctor, it is not medically feasible to accommodate all such demands. I have planned 2-3 labour inductions tonight&nbsp;so they can deliver tomorrow, but they are all near-term pregnancies and absolutely safe," said Dr&nbsp;Ila Jha, Senior Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad.</p>

<p>Dr Jha emphasised&nbsp;that while she respects and honours sentimental requests as a doctor, there is a need to strike a balance from a medical standpoint.</p>

<p>"If the timing is suitable, the baby is mature, and the mother is well, we do induce labour or perform C-sections to honour requests. But sometimes the demands are unreasonable and we have to turn them down. For instance, I once had a 10-minute window from a patient, from 11.30 am to 11.40 am, as their priest deemed that time auspicious for the baby to be born," said&nbsp;Dr Jha.</p>

<p>In Hinduism, prasad<em>&nbsp;</em>is the offering made to a God or deity in the form of food and consumed later by the devotee. Hindus believe that consuming the prasad is like receiving a blessing from God.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A trust member told the Times of India, "No vendor or agency has been appointed by the trust to distribute the prasad online."</p>

<p>Anil Paranjape, a resident of Mumbai, approached the Ram Temple Trust's office on Wednesday to confirm whether the online platforms offering the prasad were reliable. "But I was not sure and hence visited the trust office to procure the prasad in bulk," he said.</p>

<p>The staff deployed at the office of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra handed him ten packets of the 'elaichi dana' with instructions to mix it with the other prasad for further distribution.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, unlike other temples and religious shrines, carrying the prasad<em>&nbsp;</em>beyond the security checkpoint has not been permitted in Ayodhya.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Prakash Gupta, the temple trust camp office in-charge, said, "Ram Temple Trust is a non-profit organisation. Prasad is only offered within the existing Ram temple to the devotees. No online service has been initiated so far. The prasad is offered free of cost to the devotees and no money is charged. People need to be cautious about online platforms and services as trust has not authorised anybody yet."</p>

<p>Once someone reaches these online platforms offering prasad, they ask for personal and bank account details. Within a matter of seconds, these scammers can gain access to your bank accounts. Police have urged people to report such cyber frauds on the National Cybercrime Helpline (1930) or lodge complaints through cybercrime.gov.in. "There is hardly any religious organisation or institution that delivers prasad like this. If anyone comes across such messages, please ignore them and don't click on any links," a police offer said.&nbsp;</p>
