Five people, including Vikram Investments managing director Raghavendra Srinath, have been arrested in connection with the alleged fraud case.

As per media reports, there are several other bigwigs who invested their money in the firm but were duped.&nbsp;

India U-19 coach Rahul Dravid is confident that it won&#39;t just be &quot;one memory&quot; that would define this talented bunch of cricketers as a bigger and more challenging journey awaits them.

&quot;It&#39;s a memory they&#39;ll cherish for a long time and hopefully it&#39;s not a memory that defines them and they will have a lot more bigger and better memories as they go on ahead in their careers,&quot; coach Dravid said after India&#39;s fourth ICC U-19 World Cup title.

Dravid spoke about the effort that the entire batch put on for the last 14 month, which bore fruit.

&quot;I am really proud of the boys, proud of the effort that they have put in and proud of the support staff as well. I think the effort we have put in over the last 14 months have been sensational. They really deserved this, couldn&#39;t be really happier and proud for this bunch of boys,&quot; the legendary batsman said.

He was always aware that the since this was an U-19 team, the spotlight will always be on him but as usual he was magnanimous in praising the entire support staff comprising of fielding coach Abhay Sharma, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey to name a few.

&quot;Coaching this team, I tend to get a lot of attention, but it is really about the quality of support staff that we have had, there have been seven or eight of us, who have been together for the last 14 months. The effort they put in was incredible,&quot; he said.

Ramiz Raja has praised the role of legendary batsman Rahul Dravid in developing the young Indian players, and said Pakistan needs someone like him to unearth talent.

Lamenting the 203-run defeat at the hands of India in the semi-finals, Ramiz said he was pretty shocked at the margin of loss.

He, however, said it was not surprising, given the fact that Indian youngsters were better groomed and prepared to handle pressure situations.

&quot;I am impressed with the temperament shown by some of the Indian players. They have a fine find in Shubman Gill and others. Rahul Dravid deserves lot of credit for preparing and grooming them so effectively,&quot; he said.

Ramiz said having someone like Dravid as their coach and mentor was a big boost for the Indian youngsters.

&quot;They learn such a lot from him not just about cricket but about everything else. How to conduct oneself, how to develop game sense and so on,&quot; he said.

Ramiz said he was disappointed with the lack of batting talent in the Pakistan U-19 team.

They were 110 for three at one stage but lost their last seven wickets for 44 runs.

The Men in Blue had posted a mammoth total of 328 runs against Australia, after skipper-opener Prithvi Shaw played a brilliant 94-run knock along with 180 runs partnership with fellow opener Manoj Kalra.

Prithvi Shaw is also named the Player of the Match for his stellar performance.

Shaw faced 100 balls and hit eight boundaries, including two sixes in his innings, falling just six runs short of a century after being caught behind off Will Sutherland.

In-form Manoj also troubled the Australian pacers with his 86-run knock before falling off Param Uppal&#39;s bowling.

Even the Indian bowlers tormented Australian batting to the sword with pacers Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi claiming three wickets each and ending their innings at 228 after 42.5 overs.&nbsp;

Opener Jack Edwards is the only player in Australian squad to score highest runs, 73 off 90 balls, with the rest of the batting line collapsing early without causing any much harm to India.

There was no respite for the Australian bowlers even after the departure of Shaw and Kalra with Shubhman Gill tormenting the bowlers with his 63-run knock.

It was not that Shaw and Klara plundered boundaries, instead, they raised their knocks with some stupendous risk- free batting.

Shaw, though, missed out on a century by six runs as he was caught behind off Will Sutherland, son of former Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland.

The Indian captain faced 100 balls and scored eight boundaries, including two sixes in his knock.

His opening partner also missed out on a ton, falling for 86 which came off 99 balls with 12 shots to the fence and on over the ropes.

There were no steady partnerships after their departure even as Gill kept one end solid with his 54-ball knock which had six fours and a six.

The middle order batsmen lost their wickets, trying to accelerate the run-rate as Himanshu Rana (14) and Anukul Roy (6) fell cheaply.

Abhishek Sharma though managed to come up with an 8-ball 23-run cameo which propelled India past the 300-run mark. He hit two sixes and as many fours.

How far can a cricket fan go to immortalise his&nbsp;idol? A Chennai-based sports startup Sportwalk has created a comic book titled- &#39;The Wall&#39;, which highlights the 15 best cricketing moments from Rahul Dravid&#39;s career.

Today, the former cricketer and captain of the Indian team is the head coach of the Under-19 Indian cricket&nbsp;team.

In an exclusive chat with WION, the creators of the comic book revealed that they were inspired by Dravid&#39;s&nbsp;humility and the way he won hearts by his performance on and off the field.

&quot;It was a humble tribute that we wanted to pay to the great man that is Rahul Dravid. He is a cricketing idol for all of us. Like if you like sports, you have to love Rahul Dravid. He is an embodiment of the perfect gentleman and he is a great role model for every youngster,&quot; said Abhranil Roy who heads the digital media team at Sportwalk.

For them, the inspiration to make a comic book on Dravid came by meeting the Rahul Dravid fan clubs based in South India. The cricketer&#39;s&nbsp;journey excited them and they were overwhelmed by the response they received upon the conception of this idea. They chose Dravid&#39;s birth date January 11&nbsp;to launch the comic book.&nbsp;

It helped that we had certain guidelines as we had to capture 15 moments from his career. The initial challenge was to identify those moments, things that his fans could relate to. I hope the comic book takes Rahul Dravid fans to a trip down the memory lane.&quot;

The chief cartoonist revels in the way the comic book appears visually as he calls it his masterpiece. He recalls his journey as a cartoonist and he hopes for the best outcome for this project.&nbsp;&quot;I started practising during my college days and eventually developed my own style. Then Divakar approached me with the idea of telling sports stories using comics. Since I found this idea unique, I started doing it.&quot; said Adheedhan R, the chief cartoonist.

The company Sportwalk&nbsp;that also organises sports-related events and sells merchandises online&nbsp;is&nbsp;also the first sports&nbsp;startup to associate with Comic Con India. They&nbsp;are&nbsp;currently working on more comic book&nbsp;projects, sports&nbsp;events and merchandises.&nbsp;

Alongside Shaw, who has created ripples with his exploits in the domestic circuit for Mumbai, there is Himanshu Rana, who has also amased plenty of runs in Youth ODIs.

Punjab&#39;s Shubhman Gill at number three is one of the most exciting young batsmen going around, and with a few impressive first-class games this Ranji Trophy season, he will have gained in confidence.

&quot;We&#39;ve been here a week now, played a couple of games. Everything has gone well, the preparation of the team has been good. Our goal is obviously to win the World Cup but at the same time we are looking forward to our first game,&quot; he said.

Asked if there are any Indian players in particular he thinks could have a lot of success at this tournament, Dravid said, We don&#39;t like to focus too much on the individuals. We believe we&#39;ve got a very good squad together and the opportunities for us to play well as a team are there.

It&#39;s considered the stepping stone for the stars of the future and 16 teams, including three-time champions India, would be aiming to discover their Virat Kohlis and Steve Smiths when the ICC Under-19 World Cup starts off here tomorrow.

From Kohli to Smith, most modern-day greats have learnt the ropes in the biennial event, which has gained significance with every passing edition.

The boys not only become men here, they also become household names with millions following the live broadcast of the competition.

The event begins tomorrow with Pakistan taking on Afghanistan and hosts New Zealand facing reigning champions West Indies.

India, eager to prove themselves after their disastrous showing in the Asia Cup, open their campaign against Australia at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.

The tournament&#39;s stature has risen to such an extent that a great like Rahul Dravid, the current India U-19 coach, would love to have been part of it back in the day.

&quot;We never played this tournament in my day. After 1988 they didn&#39;t hold the tournament for 10 years, so I&#39;ve no exposure of playing and being part of this tournament. I tell a lot of these boys that I think it&#39;s a terrific opportunity for them to be a part of this tournament,&quot; Dravid had said in the lead up to the event.

Countless number of U-19 players have gone on to represent their countries at the highest level. Each edition unearths oodles of talent and makes them overnight stars, be it Rishabh Pant or Alzaari Joseph from the previous edition in 2016 when three-time champions India lost the final to the West Indies.

Opinion: Happy Birthday, Rahul Dravid! You are India's greatest batsman.

The atmosphere was charged up and spectators were on the ground with all sorts of banners to cheer their side. However, one banner was conspicuous with its presence and it said: &ldquo;Where is Dravid&rdquo;.&nbsp; It manifests that how dominating Rahul Dravid was in domestic Cricket by the year 1996 and his inclusion in Indian playing eleven had become so much imminent.

&nbsp;

Twenty-two years down the line when the great wall of India Rahul Dravid turns 45, I fondly recall this incident. During this time period, Dravid had not only arrived but had become one of the brightest stars and a great ambassador of the game in the whole annals of Indian Cricket.

The Committee of Administrators (CoA) today said the Indian cricket team&#39;s support staff will be recruited after consultation with head coach Ravi Shastri by July 22, effectively putting on hold Zaheer Khan and Rahul Dravid&#39;s appointments.

In a meeting attended by CoA members Vinod Rai, Diana Edulji and BCCI CEO Rahul Johri, the CoA approved the appointment of Shastri. However, the committee did not implicitly specify whether Dravid and Khan were on board as consultants for specific overseas tours, as had been claimed by the BCCI.

As per the minutes of the meeting, the &quot;appointments of other consultants will be decided by the committee in consultation with the head coach&quot;.

The CoA has formed a four-member panel, which includes acting Board President C K Khanna and CEO Rahul Johri, to decide on the remuneration of newly-appointed head coach Shastri and other members of the support staff.

Edulji and BCCI acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary are the other members of the committee which will meet on July 19. This was decided after a CoA meeting today.

The new committee will reach out to CoA with its recommendations on July 22, three days after the team leaves for the Sri Lanka tour on July 19.

Wessels eventually departed for a career-best 146, from 97 balls, while Lumb went on to make 184, also his best and a record for the county, as Nottinghamshire posted 445 for 8, the second highest score for a List A match in the world.
