Team India defeated Papua New Guinea by 10 wickets in the ICC Under-19 World Cup.

It was an easy win for Team India in a low scoring encounter as Indian bowlers destroyed Papua's batting order restricting them at a paltry 67 all out.

Indian pacer Ankul Roy claimed his career-best figures as he took 5 wickets in 6.5 overs. For his spectacular spell, he was awarded player of the match.

Earlier, India had won the toss and opted to bowl first at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.

Shivam Mavi was at full throttle taking two quick wickets of Igo Mahuru and Heagi Toua. Recently, former cricket legend of India, Sourav Ganguly, praised him for his splendid performance against Australia.

Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Arshdeep Singh claimed one wicket each and contributed to India's victory.

For India, openers Prithvi Shaw and Manjot Karla took charge and achieved the target easily in just 8 overs.

India had earlier beaten Australia by 100 runs in the first match of the U-19 World Cup.
