Prince Harry and Meghan Markle surprise a poetry class for Black history month

<p>It's been almost a year since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their Royal duties and moved far away from their UK family. A close friend of the couple, journalist and author Tom Bradby is speaking out and gave some insights of the family.&nbsp;<br />

In an interview, Tom revealed that Harry is still upset by the family issues but however, he and his wife, are happy in their new independent life in America. &nbsp;</p>

No, I think they are content, the things they are doing they are quite excited by''.&nbsp;<br />

By talking further, Tom thinks, that Harry is still “heartbroken by the situation with his family, you don’t necessarily need to have the knowledge to know that, but I think it is true.”<br />

Tom also spoke about the brother relationship, “The situation with the family clearly isn’t ideal and it has been a very difficult year for them all,” he shared. “But are they unhappy out there? No, I don’t think that’s right, I think they are pretty happy actually, but I think they wrestle with their position in life, I think they all do. I think William does too, I don’t think he finds it easy.”</p>

<p>Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly denied permission from having a wreath laid on their behalf at a cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday in the UK.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to The Sunday&nbsp;Times, The Duke of Sussex, who was in the British armed forces for 10 years, sent a personal request to Buckingham Palace to have the wreath laid, but was <a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/royal-titles-go-missing-in-new-promo-featuring-prince-harry-meghan-markle-328433">refused as he'd left royal duties in March.</a></p>

<p>Reportedly, the Queen was not informed of the request and&nbsp;its refusal, which has "deeply saddened" Harry. After the denial from the Palace, the couple spent the day privately and went to&nbsp;Los Angeles National Cemetery to pay tribute to those who have served and those who have fallen.</p>

<p>The couple - who wore masks around other visitors - laid flowers that Meghan picked from their garden at the graves of two Commonwealth soldiers, one from the Royal Australian Air Force and one from the Royal Canadian Artillery. They also left a wreath, as is traditionally done on the holiday, inscribed with a plaque that reads, "In Memory of the Men Who Offered Their Lives in Defence of Their Country."
