Haberman's book alleges White House staff discovered that the toilet was clogged with some documents believed to have been flushed by Trump when he was in office.&nbsp;

According to the Post, such documents require special clearances on a need-to-know basis, rather than a generic top-secret clearance.

The Justice Department has been saying that top secret documents were "likely concealed" to obstruct an FBI probe into Trump's potential mishandling of classified materials.

Earlier, Trump surrendered "highly classified" records in January after months of back and forth with the National Archives and Records Administration, which were later reviewed by authorities. The 15 boxes handed over by Trump contained 184 documents marked as confidential, secret or top secret.

Reportedly, Inna was the president of United Hearts of Mercy, an NGO, founded by a Florida-based Russian businessman called Valery Tarasenk. However, the authorities believe that it was actually a front for organized crime.

Meanwhile, Inna's former husband Sergey Golubev, a Russian-born US citizen, who married her in 2011, said that they only got married so she could obtain US residence and stay in the country.&nbsp;

"At some point, she needed a green card,"&nbsp;Golubev was quoted as saying by&nbsp;Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Donald Trump had more than 700 classified documents at Mar-a-Lago

In what comes as a small victory for Donald Trump and his legion of Republican supporters, a Florida federal judge on Thursday ordered that portions of the affidavit that the FBI used to secure&nbsp;a search warrant against the former US president can be made public, much to the chagrin of the department of justice (DOJ).

Judge Bruce Reinhart in his observation after the hearing said,&nbsp;“I believe, at least on my initial careful review of the affidavit, that there are portions that could be presumptively unsealed.”

The&nbsp;DOJ lawyers have time till next Thursday i.e., seven days to submit the&nbsp;affidavit with the redacted portions. Moreover, the judge added that the justice department will be allowed to appeal if it doesn't agree with his 'redacted' affidavit idea.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, DOJ chief Jay Bratt during the hearing stated that the release of the affidavit could harm the witnesses.

“The government is very concerned about the safety of the witnesses in these cases and the impact of all the attention on these witnesses on other witnesses,” Bratt told the judge.&nbsp;

Who has filed the motion?

It is pertinent to note that&nbsp;New York Times, CNN, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal and The&nbsp;Associated Press are among the outlets that have demanded the release of the affidavit.

However, curiously enough, despite blaming the FBI and DOJ for launching a witch hunt against him, neither Trump nor his lawyers have filed any motion for the unsealing of the affidavit.&nbsp;

Why is US DOJ not unsealing the affidavit?

As reported by WION, on Monday, the justice department refused to unseal the affidavit, stating it would likely affect the investigation process.

"If disclosed, the affidavit would serve as a roadmap to the government's ongoing investigation, providing specific details about its direction and likely course, in a manner that is highly likely to compromise future investigative steps," the DoJ lawyers wrote in the filing.

A contrast in action from the DOJ

The decision to not unseal the affidavit was in stark contrast with the confidence shown by Attorney General&nbsp;Merrick Garland, who, in a rather unusual stance, publicly announced that he was willing to unseal the search warrant.

Even when questioned during his brief presser last week, Garland did not give much regarding the 'evidence' submitted in the affidavit used to obtain the warrant.

“Much of our work is by necessity conducted out of the public eye. We do that to protect the constitutional rights of all Americans and to protect the integrity of our investigations," said&nbsp;Garland.&nbsp;

According to the warrant released, the FBI is circling Trump, mainly around the Espionage Act after the former President took several boxes from White House to his current Florida residence after losing the elections.

Fox News is facing flak for airing a fake image of the federal judge who signed off on the warrant allowing FBI agents to search former president Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago.

In the altered image, the photo of the judge was placed onto an old photo of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein getting a foot massage by convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.

The image was photoshopped onto the image holding Oreos and a bottle of whiskey. It was credited to the Twitter account @whatimemetosay, which describes itself as a “digital art creator”.

The image was aired on Thursday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, where the stand-in host, Brian Kilmeade, teased the fake image in the live 9 pm show.

“So, a picture of Bruce Reinhart, this is the judge in charge of the, of the ah... of the ah, as you know of the warrant. And we’ll see if he’s going to release it next. He likes Oreos and whiskey,” Kilmeade said while speaking to another Fox News host Sean Hannity, adding, “Sean, can you relate to that?”

To which Hannity replied, “I think that’s actually a picture of Jeffrey Epstein with somebody putting his head on there … I’m guessing, I don’t know.”

“Who knows?” Kilmeade then concluded.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents who raided Donald Trump’s Florida house, Mar-a-Lago, were searching for classified documents on nuclear weapons, The Washington Post reported citing people familiar with the investigation.

Attorney General Merrick Garland on Thursday said that he personally authorised the raid after seeking permission for a search warrant but did not discuss the investigation in great detail.

The Post, quoting officials, didn’t provide further details of the specific information sought by the agents in the raid. They also did not disclose whether the documents were related to weapons from the US or some other country.

They also refused to answer if such documents were recovered as part of the search. But they expressed apprehension that such documents said to be possessed by Trump have the potential to fall into the wrong hands.

But the people closely involved in the raid told The New York Times that the documents were so sensitive and important to national security that the Justice Department had no choice but to try and retrieve them.

The FBI is being increasingly attacked by Conservative politicians seeking an explanation from the Justice Department on what warranted the search.

In a late-night post on his Truth Social platform on Thursday, Trump said that he would "not oppose the release of documents," adding, "I am going a step further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents."

FBI searched for classified nuclear documents at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home: Report

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has condemned the threats made to the law enforcement in the wake of raids on former US president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.

In a statement on Thursday, the FBI noted that its special agents "put their lives on the line every day to protect the public”.

The statement came hours after Trump and Conservative leaders slammed the FBI as a "corrupt" and "politicised" agency following the Monday raid, in which agents reportedly were searching for classified documents that Trump had retained in violation of rules on official records.

That was followed by a surge of violent threats against the FBI and Justice Department on social media and in conservative chat rooms, AFP reported.

"The threats made recently contribute to an atmosphere where some have, or will, accept violence against law enforcement as appropriate. It is not. Special Agents and their families should never be threatened with violence, including for doing their jobs," the association said.

The FBI has been at the receiving end of the Conservative leaders since the raid, who described it as a state of “civil war”.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz dubbed the FBI "an attack dog” to help the Democrats while Republican Congressman Paul Gosar in a tweet said that "we must destroy the FBI."

Another fervent Trump supporter, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, attacked the agency and spoke of "civil war."

"The FBI has gone rogue and is doing the dirty work of a communist regime," she said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, an armed man was shot on early morning when he tried to breach the FBI headquarters office in the US state of Ohio&nbsp;

"Upon the activation of an alarm and a response by armed FBI special agents, the subject fled," the FBI said in a statement.

As per the agreement, Mar-a-Lago cannot be taken over for personal use of a family as it&nbsp;"is a social club, and no one may reside on the property," the lawyer representing the family said in a letter sent to&nbsp;the town of Palm Beach and the US Secret Service .

"To avoid an embarrassing situation for everyone and to give the president time to make other living arrangements in the area, we trust you will work with his team to remind them of the use agreement parameters," wrote Reginald Stambaugh, the lawyer.

Zhang is not accused of espionage but is charged with making false statements to federal officers after first claiming to be a member who wanted to use the pool, and then saying she was attending a non-existent Chinese-American friendship event.

She is also charged with knowingly entering a restricted building -- which Mar-a-Lago becomes while Trump is in residence. She has pleaded not guilty.

"(The) defendant's charges are very serious and appear to have a direct nexus to unlawfully accessing a location where the president, his family, and his staff were located or were thought to be located," Matthewman said in the court documents.

If convicted, Zhang faces up to a five-year sentence and a $250,000 fine.
