Is Pakistani rupee so worthless that this cop in Karachi demanded goats and cow as bribe?

<p>Farhan Akhtar's long-awaited cameo in 'Ms. Marvel' was teased by Disney+ ahead of the fourth episode's release on Wednesday afternoon. The introductory video clip featuring Akhtar was shared by Marvel Entertainment on its social media accounts on Tuesday night, revealing Farhan’s character as Waleed. The show is one of the most "desi" programmes that ever existed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with its focus on Asian music and culture. The fourth episode of ‘Ms Marvel’ presents a distinctive fusion of Marvel and South Asian masala cinema and is where the show really establishes its primary concept.</p>

<p>The video clip also features Aramis Knight as Kareem/Red Dagger, who is leading Iman Vellani into a mysterious location, where they meet Akhtar’s character. Kareem can be seen saying, "Usually, tourists are not allowed." And it's then when Farhan’s character appears in the scene and says, "But for a descendant of Ayesha’s, I’m sure we can make an exception." He continues to say, "My name is Waleed. Your great-grandmother’s story is of legend. When you’re ready, we have much to discuss."</p>

<p>Though Farhan has a brief role in the show, it is important. Marvel Studios&nbsp;casting a well-known Asian face as Waleed was required as the persona needed some grandeur and a touch of Asia. Apart from Farhan, other renowned South Asian actors will appear in the MCU series, including Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Mohan Kapur in recurring roles.</p>

Farhan Akhtar's long-awaited cameo in 'Ms. The fourth episode of ‘Ms Marvel’ presents a distinctive fusion of Marvel and South Asian masala cinema and is where the show really establishes its primary concept. The video clip also features Aramis Knight as Kareem/Red Dagger, who is leading Iman Vellani into a mysterious location, where they meet Akhtar’s character. When you’re ready, we have much to discuss." It's my pleasure to introduce you to Waleed! Catch me in the latest episode of Ms. Marvel on @DisneyPlusHS. Marvel Studios' #MsMarvel four episodes, now streaming in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English. pic.twitter.com/Tpi8w1vVwu — Farhan Akhtar (@FarOutAkhtar) June 29, 2022 × Though Farhan has a brief role in the show, it is important. Marvel Studios casting a well-known Asian face as Waleed was required as the persona needed some grandeur and a touch of Asia. Apart from Farhan, other renowned South Asian actors will appear in the MCU series, including Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Mohan Kapur in recurring roles. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Disney+ Hotstar (@disneyplushotstar) × The fourth episode of ‘Ms Marvel’ captures Karachi’s beauty, while we see Kamala Khan visiting her sick grandmother. The episode, directed by Oscar winner and Pakistani filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, shows shots of market, flying kites, and train stations, and other glimpses of the Karachi city. Meanwhile, ‘Ms Marvels’ previous episodes transported the viewers to Karachi with Ali Sethi’s superhit song ‘Pasoori’. The episode also includes the iconic disco song ‘Disco Deewane’ by legendary Pakistani artist Nazia Hassan, who created a flutter on both sides of the border when it was released in 1981. <p>Mohammad Rizwan somehow denied Starc a hat-trick but looked pretty much a sitting duck during his 13-ball stay.</p>

<p>Dropped in the slip by Steve Smith off Cummins, Rizwan got another life in the very next ball when an lbw decision against him was overturned.</p>

Australia declared their first innings on 556 for nine and then skittled out Pakistan for 148 to seize control of the second test in Karachi on Monday. After more than two days of leather-hunt under a harsh sun at the National Stadium, Pakistan's abject batting capitulation handed Australia a mammoth first-innings lead of 408. The hosts were spared the ignominy of a follow-on but Australia's overall lead bulged to 489 as the touring side finished day three on 81-1. Their Islamabad-born opener Usman Khawaja was batting on 35 with Marnus Labuschagne on 37. ALSO READ: India thrash Sri Lanka by 238 runs to register 2-0 clean sweep, record 15th striaght Test series win at home Earlier, Australia milked 51 runs in nine overs before declaring their innings immediately after crossing the 550-mark. Skipper Pat Cummins smashed three sixes in his unbeaten 34 off 36 balls against a jaded Pakistan attack on a slow track. Pakistan were let down by their openers who showed poor judgment to depart either side of the lunch break. Abdullah Shafique made 13 before running himself out and opening partner Imam-ul-Haq, who smashed twin hundreds in the drawn series opener in Rawalpindi, fell to Nathan Lyon in a sudden rush of needless aggression. STARC STRIKES Mitchell Starc then claimed two in two to rock Pakistan. The left-arm quick lured Azhar Ali (14) into driving a full and wide delivery and Cameron Green grabbed the edge at second slip. Starc followed that with a searing yorker to trap Fawad Alam lbw for a duck. Mohammad Rizwan somehow denied Starc a hat-trick but looked pretty much a sitting duck during his 13-ball stay. Dropped in the slip by Steve Smith off Cummins, Rizwan got another life in the very next ball when an lbw decision against him was overturned. It did not really matter though as Cummins returned to dismiss Rizwan caught behind in his next over. Babar top-scored for Pakistan with 36 before becoming debutant leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson's (2-32) first test victim.
