American actress Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney`s wedding had a far more interesting menu which made the event more happening and memorable.

The 29-year-old Oscar-winning actor and the art dealer exchanged vows on Saturday, and the guests, which included Adele, Amy Schumer, and Kris Jenner, had a variety of tasty options to choose from during the reception.

The couple`s wedding reception food was prepared outside the luxurious Belcourt of Newport -- a mansion in Newport, Rhode Island -- on a section of the estate`s large gravel driveway.

Set out on large rectangular tables were rows of squash and carrots, and there were also tons of smoked fish and beef being cooked on open fire spits.Around 11 pm a food truck for Boston`s Baddest Burger and Sandwich Company parked right in front of the mansion.

However, there was one food item that didn`t appear to be on the menu: Lawrence`s own favourite creation, the chilli pizza sandwich.
The Hunger Games star opened up about the mouth-watering culinary invention back in 2016. "It`s called a chilli pizza sandwich," she said in a video for Glamour, as she explained how to actually put it together.

"You have a piece of pizza, you put chilli in it with noodles, like southern chilli with noodles, and then another piece of pizza, and then you eat it like a sandwich," reported People.

After tying the knot, Lawrence and Maroney held a wedding reception for their 150 guests, which also included Emma Stone and Ashley Olsen.

Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence is set to play a mob wife-turned-police informant in 'Mob Girl' to be helmed by Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino.

The upcoming crime drama is learned to be an adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Teresa Carpenter`s non-fiction crime story under the same name.

The script penned by Angelina Burnett will be produced by Lawrence along with Justine Polsky, Sorrentino and Lorenzo Mieli.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film revolves around Arlyne Brickman, a woman who grew up among mobsters in New York City. Over the course of time, she becomes a "mob girlfriend" who wanted a piece of the action herself. Later, Brickman becomes a police informant and a major witness in the government`s case against the Colombo crime family.

"Seeing this story from a woman`s point of view is a fresh and exciting approach to telling a classic mob story. We could not imagine a more perfect team of stellar filmmakers, with Jennifer starring in a tour de force role and Paolo at the helm, to bring Arlyne`s strength and unique perspective to life on screen," Deadline quoted Brad Weston, Makeready studio`s executive, as saying.

The film comes as the first collaborative project between Lawrence`s Excellent Cadaver and Weston`s Makeready.

She was spotted wearing a plunging black dress while promoting upcoming movie Red Sparrow

Jennifer Lawrence on Wednesday blasted a controversy over a photo of her wearing a plunging black dress outside on a cold London day as sexist, ridiculous and "not feminism." The Oscar-winning star, 27, said in a Facebook posting that she was also "extremely offended" by what she called the "utterly ridiculous" reaction on social and mainstream media to the photo, taken as part of promotions for her upcoming movie "Red Sparrow." Sanjay Leela Bhansali perhaps could have never imagined that his magnum opus Padmavati would divide an entire country with contrasting opinions. Right from the time the filming of Padmavati began, there have been agitations around the film. In January Rajput Karni Sena, stormed the sets of the film, thrashed the director and vandalised the sets.

While assurance from Bhansali productions came soon after that the film did not distort history or disrespect Rajput history in any manner, opposition against the film continued to grow.

Things took an ugly turn when the film's trailer released in October as protestors gained steam. While earlier the group had objected to an alleged dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji - which the makers assured did not exist- later the protestors claimed that the film distorted history.

The protests in the past few weeks have gained momentum after various state governments also raised objection towards the film. While the release of the film has been deferred- it was earlier scheduled to release on December 1- many of the states have declared a ban on the film's screening.

Here is a quick look at which of the states have opposed to

The protests began in Rajasthan back in January when Rajput Karni Sena vandalised the film's set. Later in September, Karni Sena's Lokendra Singh Kalvi reiterates that his organisation will oppose the film's screening if facts are "distorted". Earlier in November, protest by the Karni Sena against the film picked up the pace in Rajasthan with a complete bandh observed in Chittorgarh. Now, the state CM Vasundhara Raje has stated that the film will not be released in the state until changes in the film are made. The Chief Minister had suggested that the film and its plot should be reviewed by a committee of renowned historians, film personalities, and representatives of society at large.
Members of BJP wrote to the Chief Election Commissioner seeking a ban on the release of the film in Gujarat in the wake of the assembly elections in the state. Expressing concern about distortion of history in the movie, the BJP leaders stated that CBFC should only release the film after the 'objectionable' scenes are removed.

In Noida, Uttar Pradesh, members of the Karni Sena had vandalised a cinema hall for screening the trailer of the film earlier this month. The UP Home Minister had even written a letter to the Censor board to consider the sentiments of the people before certifying the film. They feared if the film released it would affect the peace and harmony in the state. Now CM Yogi Adityanath has stated that the film will be not be screened in the state if the desired cuts are not made. "Sentiments of the people of the state should not be hurt," reiterated Yogi.

In Madhya Pradesh, the state CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan declared a ban on the film and stated that the decision was taken after he received requests from various Rajput groups appealing for a ban on the film's release.

Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir have also expressed concern over the film's content. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has said, "Nobody will accept the distortion of history and those who are protesting are rightly doing so."

Meanwhile, National Conference leader Devender Singh Rana has also written to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti asking her not to allow the release of the film until its contents have been verified.

In Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, members of the Karni Sena staged a protest a few days back demanding a ban on the film's release in the state as they alleged the film distorted history.

Rajput communities in Bihar too have protested against the film. News of protest from Patna, Bhagalpur and Supaul have been reported. Bihar minister Jay Kumar Singh and BJP MLA Gayanu Singh, both from Rajput community, have extended their support to the protestors.

While most state CMS have opposed the film's release, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has extended her support to Padmavati. On Monday, Banerjee took to Twitter to show her support for the film. Calling the controversy 'unfortunate', Banerjee stated that the film industry must come together and fight as one.

Echoing Ms. Banerjee's sentiments, the Karnataka government on Tuesday declared its support to the film. The film's leading lady Deepika Padukone belongs to the state and the government has stepped up security for Padukone's parents who reside in Bangalore. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah asked his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar to take stringent action against those threatening Padukone for her role in the film.

“I condemn the culture of intolerance and hate perpetuated by the BJP,” Siddaramaiah tweeted. “Karnataka stands with Deepika Padukone. She is a globally-renowned artist from our state.”

Uttar Pradesh chief minister said his government's view on the Padmawati row has already been conveyed to India's information and Broadcasting minister Smriti Irani. (ANI) × In Madhya Pradesh, the state CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan declared a ban on the film and stated that the decision was taken after he received requests from various Rajput groups appealing for a ban on the film's release. Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir have also expressed concern over the film's content. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has said, "Nobody will accept the distortion of history and those who are protesting are rightly doing so." Meanwhile, National Conference leader Devender Singh Rana has also written to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti asking her not to allow the release of the film until its contents have been verified. The #Padmavati controversy is not only unfortunate but also a calculated plan of a political party to destroy the freedom to express ourselves. We condemn this super emergency. All in the film industry must come together and protest in one voice — Mamata Banerjee (@MamataOfficial) November 20, 2017 × Echoing Ms. She is a globally-renowned artist from our state.” I condemn the culture of intolerance & hate perpetuated by @BJP4India . Karnataka stands with @deepikapadukone .She is a globally renowned artist from our state. I call upon the CM of Haryana @mlkhattar to take strict action against those holding out threats against her. https://t.co/d8rahml5MZ — Siddaramaiah (@siddaramaiah) November 20, 2017 ×

There are movies you carry with you even after you have seen it a while back. Some fall into the bracket of being high on emotional quotient while others are those that play with your mind and require an extra dose of effort to be understood. From the initial looks of it, the movie "mother!" would fall under the latter.

"Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence on Tuesday topped a Forbes magazine list of the world's highest-paid actress for the second straight year, earning some $46 million, followed by Melissa McCarthy.

Lawrence, 26, took the top spot largely through a slice of the profits from the final movie in the "Hunger Games" franchise, as well as a big upfront fee for her forthcoming space adventure movie "Passengers," Forbes said.

Yet Lawrence's estimated payday was likely well below that for Hollywood's leading men, Forbes said, despite the actress sparking a debate about the gender pay gap last year. She declared she was "finished being adorable" when it came to negotiating better deals for herself.

Lawrence's 2016 earnings dropped 11.5 percent from her 2015 total of $52 million. Forbes will release its list of the world's highest-paid actors on Thursday. Last year Robert Downey Jr topped the list with an estimated $80 million.

Neither, however, came close to pop star Taylor Swift, who was named the top-earning celebrity of 2016 earlier this year, pulling in an estimated $170 million from record sales and her world tour.

McCarthy took home $33 million in earnings, up $10 million from 2015 in part from her payday for the controversial female reboot of "Ghostbusters."

It was the biggest annual paycheck to date for the star of television comedy "Mike and Molly." McCarthy, 45, also launched a clothing line for sizes 4 to 28 after becoming frustrated at the outfits available for larger women.

Scarlett Johansson of "Captain America: Civil Wars" was third at $25 million, down nearly 30 percent from 2015.

Together, the world’s 10 highest-paid actresses tallied a combined $205 million between June 1, 2015 and June 1, 2016, before management fees and taxes, Forbes said.

The estimates include earnings from movies, TV and endorsements from cosmetic and other companies. Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is the only newcomer on the list.

The rest of the top 10 2016 highest-paid actresses are:

4. Jennifer Aniston - $21 million

5. Fan Bingbing - $17 million

6. Charlize Theron - $16.5 million

7. Amy Adams - $13.5 million

8. Julia Roberts - $12 million

9. Mila Kunis - $11 million

10. Deepika Padukone - $10 million
