<p>The e-auction is being organised by the Indian Ministry of Culture and it kicked off on October 2. The auction will conclude on October 31, 2023, as per the ministry's official website.</p>

<p>According to reports, the starting price for the Golden Temple model is Rs 13,500 and the highest bid for this model is Rs 2,01,000. The plea by the Akali Dal leader comes when the auction is five days away from being closed.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Appeal to stop the auction</strong></h2>

<p>Sukhbir Badal said, "This model was presented as a sacred symbol of the gift and blessings of the Akal Purakh and the Guru Sahibs... My humble request to the Prime Minister to stop this auction immediately."</p>

<p>"If the government feels unable to handle this sacred and priceless gift, then I request that this sacred symbol be kindly handed back to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee," a post by Badal read on X social media platform. &nbsp;</p>

<p>As per media reports, India might share a “dossier of the old and new evidence” with the FATF, the Paris-based watchdog responsible for legal, regulatory and operational measures to combat money laundering and terror financing.</p>

<p>“Canada acquiescing to India’s demand to reduce its diplomatic strength by 41 is not enough as India’s key concern is about funding and shielding of Khalistanis on Canadian soil,” a diplomatic source was quoted as saying by The Sunday Guardian.</p>

<h2><strong>The core issue</strong></h2>

<p>According to Indian officials, Canada has been trying to divert the global community’s attention from the core issue of terror funding by accusing India of flouting international norms.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The core issue in India’s relationship with Canada is the safe space that terrorists and criminal elements have secured in that country,” the official said.</p>

<p>As per a former director of India’s prime anti-terror agency National Investigation Agency (NIA), India has on several occasions shared multiple evidence-based inputs with Ottawa against Khalistani militants but it resulted in no action from the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.</p>

<p>Last week, India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar made clear that the country had “problems with certain segments of Canadian politics".</p>

<p>He also warned that “more stuff will come out” against Canada in the future from India, which will help people understand “why we had the kind of discomfort with many of them (diplomats).”</p>

<p>His statement follows Canada’s action of pulling out 41 diplomats from India.</p>

<p>The official further stated that there have been numerous cases where the fraudsters posed&nbsp;as law enforcement officials and duped people, threatening them with 'legal action.' In some cases, the accused also creates fake websites of companies and lures people under the pretext of good investments. After taking money they delete the websites.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The officials advise people to always verify the person to whom they are sending money.</p>

<p>The TV-D1 test was meant to prove how a crew module (structure carrying the astronauts) could be ejected from a flying rocket, if and when a mishap took place mid-flight. This is similar to how a fighter pilot pulls the ejection handle beneath the seat, in order to bailout from an aircraft that was facing grave malfunction or an imminent crash. Given the thousands of moving parts in a rocket and the very high speeds and altitudes it travels at, errors can build up anytime and rapidly cause a mishap. Therefore, it is crucial to be able to save the astronauts from any imminent catastrophe and at various flight conditions. Saturday's test was about ejecting the crew module, when the rocket was flying at an altitude of 11.9km&nbsp;and a speed of Mach 1.2 (1481kmph).&nbsp;In this mission, the parachutes began to deploy in a phased manner, the crew module began its descent from 16.8km&nbsp;(more than 55,000 feet).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Until five minutes into the mission, the visuals of the parachute deployment and gradual descent were captured by the on-board cameras mounted atop the crew module. However, five minutes into the mission, when the drogue parachutes were released and the main parachutes were deployed, ISRO's live stream began to show never-seen-before infrared visuals of the crew module. The crew module was at an altitude of around 2.5km&nbsp;at that time and the live video was being captured from well above and afar from the crew module. This close monitoring and live-streaming is learnt to have been carried out by the Navy's MQ-9B Sea Guardian Drone, two of which have been leased from the American firm General Atomics. As the events unfolded off the coast of Sriharikota, the live footage was broadcast at the Mission Control Centre of the spaceport.</p>

<p>The MQ-9B Sea Guardian is a remotely piloted aircraft that operates via satellite link. According to General Atomics, this highly sophisticated drone can deliver&nbsp;real-time situational awareness anywhere in the maritime domain, during day or night conditions. Sea Guardian not only integrates the most advanced maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, but it is also the first remotely piloted aircraft system in its class to enable real-time search and patrol above and below the ocean's surface. The real-time aerial videos streamed by ISRO also show how the aerial platform was flying amid the clouds, while continuously tracking the descent path of the crew module.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In addition to this, there were indigenous hexa-copter 'Spotter drones' that were operating from the decks of the Navy ships, that was part of this operation. "These drones have been built in our Pune facility, with the support of the Indian Navy and nearly 100 of them operate with various classes of ships. They have the unique capability of taking-off and landing vertically, even from a warship that moving at 35kmph. Powered by lithium-ion batteries, these Spotter drones have a flight endurance of 90-120minutes and can operate up to heights of 1kilometre" Captain Nikunj Parashar, Managing Director of&nbsp;Sagar Defence Engineering, the firm that builds the Spotter drones, told WION. <p>India has extended a compassionate hand to the people of Gaza, sending much-needed humanitarian aid in response to the escalating crisis in the region. The aid, consisting of essential items such as life-saving medicines, surgical supplies, tents, sleeping bags, tarpaulins, sanitary utilities, and water purification tablets, is slated to enter Gaza through Egypt's Rafah Crossing Point.</p>

<p>The Indian Air Force (IAF) played a crucial role in the delivery, dispatching nearly 6.5 tonnes of medical aid and 32 tonnes of disaster relief materials on an IAF C-17 flight. The cargo is currently en route to El-Arish airport in Egypt, where it will be handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent. From there, it will make its way into Gaza, offering a glimmer of hope to a population grappling with an acute humanitarian crisis.</p>

<p>Adnan Abu Al-Haija, the Palestinian envoy, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Indian government for this timely support. In an exclusive conversation with WION, he said, "I would like to thank the Government of India for this humanitarian step. And I think our people in Gaza need the medicine, need this kind of relief. The situation after 15 days of complete closure of food, water, medicine, oxygen, and petrol."</p>

<p>When questioned about the possibility of additional aid from India, Adnan Abu Al-Haija stressed the importance of political actions accompanying the humanitarian support. He acknowledged India's friendship with both Palestine and Israel, urging a concerted effort to halt the ongoing conflict. He stated, "We are also looking for political attitudes. I know India is a friend of both Palestine and Israel, and this war should be stopped from one side, and humanitarian aid should go to the people of Gaza."</p>

<p>On the start of the international aid via Rafah border, Adnan Abu Al-Haija expressed his concerns about the scale of the crisis, noting, "What they have sent yesterday, 20 trucks, 2.3 million living (in Gaza), this is nothing.
