Israel has hoped India & China will resolve things in a "peaceful" way even as tensions rise between the two Asian neighbours. Deputy Director-General of the Asia-Pacific Division of Israeli Foreign Ministry Gilad Cohen in response to a WION question said, "We have very good relations with India, we have good relations with China" Adding, "We hope all things will be sorted out in peaceful ways and tension will reduce, this is what we desire".

Since the clash at the Galwan Valley, tensions between India and China have been increasing on the border. Recently, China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) accused the Indian army of crossing the Line of Actual Control (LAC) on the southern bank of Pangong Lake.
