<p>The 78th Venice International Film Festival has unveiled the lineup for the 2021 Venice VR Expanded section, the virtual reality sidebar that runs alongside the prestigious cinema event.</p>

Venice Film Festival—which will commence on September 1 and go on till September 11— has unveiled the lineup for its VR Expanded section. This competition is a sidebar event to Venice Film Festival 2021 and will run subsequently with the main film extravaganza.</p>

As per reports, a total of 37 projects from 21 countries will screen during this year’s VR Expanded event, including 23 others running in the competition category.</p>

Other than the competition, Venice Film Festival will hold a special screening of In the Mist, Thai director Chou Tung-Yen’s VR rendition of the experience of visiting a gay male sauna.</p>

Venice Film Festival: The complete Venice VR Expanded section  is out!

<p>Hollywood actress Lily D Moore, who played Paxton Hall-Yoshida’s (Darren Barnet)’s adoptive Rebbeca in Netflix’s smash hit ‘Never Have I Ever’, is working on a ‘top secret’ project with Vanessa Marano of ‘Gilmore Girls’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ fame.</p>

In an interview with a global entertainment portal, Moore—who is also the Champion Ambassador of Special Olympics—talked about how she is keeping her ‘fingers crossed’ for a third season of ‘Never Have I Ever’ and recalled ‘having a blast’. “It was amazing. It was definitely a fun experience seeing everybody again… Hopefully, I'll be back,” she was quoted as saying.&nbsp;</p>

I thought it was a lot of fun because little kids actually interviewed me, and just being a part of Special Olympics is really fun, too, because you're able to meet different people with or without intellectual disabilities.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hollywood star Ben Affleck is making a comeback as Batman in actor Ezra Miller-led 'The Flash' and from what all the pictures and videos suggest—the film crew is currently shooting in Glasgow—he now has a new suit and ride to show off.&nbsp;</p>

Fans, who have posted numerous pictures and videos from the set, are convinced it is Alleck underneath that suit and ride.&nbsp;</p>

The film, which began production in England early this year will see Affleck, play one version of Batman, while Michael Keaton will reprise his role of the vigilante he had played in Tim Burton's 1989 film, ‘Batman’.</p>

Keaton, who has been spotted filming in London, is yet to be seen in his version of the Batman costume.</p>

In an interview with an entertainment site, director Andy Muschietti talked about Affleck’s character arch. “Affleck's Batman has a dichotomy that is very strong, which is his masculinity, because of the way he looks and the imposing figure that he has, and his jawline, but he’s also very vulnerable. He knows how to deliver from the inside out, that vulnerability. He just needs a story that allows him to bring that contrast, that balance,” he had reportedly said.&nbsp;</p>

Ben Affleck was planning to direct and star in a standalone Batman film for Warner Bros., but stepped down from directing it in 2017, handing over the project to Matt Reeves that will feature Robert Pattinson in the lead.</p>

The duo shines once again in this luxuriant new drop by intertwining their upscale R&amp;B style together with chill production to form an unapologetic club-ready anthem layered with honeyed hooks, sultry bass-line and slick lyrics. The record’s central theme revolves around a classic teenage love saga, with both the twins taking turns crooning about raging emotions and mixed signals centered around a love interest. The accompanying cinematic video projects an ominously sexy vibe, blurring the lines between illusion and reality. &nbsp;</p>

Elaborating on how Wiz Khalifa was roped in on the project Akash Chandani (aka Kush) states, “We had actually completed the song without Wiz Khalifa’s verse a few years ago when we started working with Sledgren. At that time, we had no idea that we would collaborate with a legend like Wiz Khalifa. We were just making the best possible music that we could out of our college dorm room. After our feature on Wiz Khalifa’s Rolling Papers 2, we met multiple major labels to discuss our career and to show them our unreleased music. ‘Naughty Or Nice’ was a standout track amongst all the label reviews! Since it was just THEMXXNLIGHT vocals at the time, they recommended that we hold off the release till we had a good enough global feature since they believed it was already a smash hit. After tons of studio sessions with Wiz Khalifa and after our performance at Sunburn India with him, we felt we had built up our relationship to the next level. One day, we randomly decided to play the song for him in the studio to get his initial feedback. He immediately stood up and started dancing and asked, “Ya’ll want a feature on this? Man, your vocals sound insane. I’ll hop on it right now.” About 30 minutes later, he completed his verse, and the engineer arranged the song. We must have played it back around 20 times! The vibes were amazing, and we just felt super proud of ourselves in that moment. Sledgren was also in the room as well, which made the moment even greater!”&nbsp;</p>

One night around 2am, after a college party, we both went back to our dorm room and talked about how confused we were about this girl’s intentions. This situation inspired the creation of “Naughty or Nice” and we recorded the song on the spot. No studio. No big set up. Just us two, the mic, and a computer. &nbsp;This is the most anticipated song of our entire career thus far! We’re just proud of how far we have come and to be representing the Indian community around the world. This is a big moment! Words can’t describe the way I feel! Marking the special occasion, Zak spoke at length about his father’s final years with the host of a podcast. “What I found was someone who was having challenges performing his craft. And that was really irritating for him. Because when you’re a performer, it goes beyond taking pride in performing. It’s your livelihood, and suddenly that becomes challenging. I mean, beyond empathy, I couldn’t help but feel frustrated for him because the neurodegenerative thing — it’s rough… The thing though is, there was a diagnosis and the like, but when he died by suicide, it had progressed, but he was only maybe two years in,” he recalled. “So I don’t want to say it was a short period — it felt a lot longer than it actually was — but it was a period for him of, I think, intense searching and frustration,” Zak said about his father’s frustrations around his then progressing Lewy body dementia and the moments leading up to his death.&nbsp;</p>

“It was a spectrum that I would see — witnessed personally. Having at times some improvement, sometimes it didn’t help at all. It might have exacerbated the situation,” he added.&nbsp;</p>

Zak also rues not being able to be there for his father every moment of his life, although he mentioned speaking with him regularly. “I mean, we talked several times a week, but then it got to the point where you’re talking every day. I wanted to be there for him on a daily basis. I really wanted to because it can be really isolating, even if you’re with family and loved ones,” he shared.&nbsp;</p>

&nbsp;The celebrated actor-comedian’s son struggled with his own share of mental illnesses following his father’s death by suicide in 2014 that led him to drinking heavily and experiencing ‘some levels of psychosis’. &nbsp;Zak Williams was also diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).&nbsp;</p>

Since his father’s passing, Zak has become a mental health advocate, working with organizations that ‘focuses on developing mental health support communities in high schools throughout the United States’.</p>
