He revealed on Tuesday that the lead part in 'Scam 2003: The Telgi Story'&nbsp;had been cast. He is also working on 'Scoop', a Netflix original series, and 'Captain India', a feature film starring Kartik Aaryan. He also directed the action movie 'Faraaz'&nbsp;with his son Jai Mehta and is working on a film with Kareena Kapoor.</p>

<p>Veteran Bollywood actor Yusuf Hussain has passed away, his son-in-law, director Hansal Mehta confirmed the news on Twitter.</p>

<p>The late actor was being treated at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, where he breathed his last on the morning of October 30, Mehta told Indian news agency PTI.&nbsp;</p>

He just came up to me and said I have a fixed deposit and it is of no use to me if you are so troubled. He wrote a cheque. Shahid was completed. That was Yusuf Husain. Not my father-in-law but a father. He was life if life itself had to have a physical form."</p>

<p>Actor Pratik Gandhi's upcoming family drama 'Dedh Bigha Zameen' on Wednesday started production in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.</p>

<p>The film is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shaailesh R Singh and filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who had directed Pratik in his breakout series Scam 1992.</p>

<p>Set in a small town of Uttar Pradesh, the family drama follows the story of a "dignified struggle of a common man" to win his land back.</p>

<p>It is being helmed by Pulkit, the director of Rajkummar Rao-starrer series 'Bose: Dead or Alive'.</p>

<p>The official Twitter handle of Bhushan Kumar's T-Series posted the first look poster of the film. "Fighting for what's rightfully his. Presenting the first look poster of #DedhBighaZameen. Shoot commences today in Jhansi," the tweet read.</p>

<p>Pratik took to Instagram and posted pictures from the first day of shoot. "New story, new character and new beginning," the 41-year-old actor wrote.</p>

<p>Vikas Dubey was killed in an encounter as he tried to escape from a police vehicle while in transit. The alleged encounter took place on July 10.</p>

<p>The notorious gangster was known by his moniker ‘Gabbar of Bikru’ and was wanted for the death of 8 Indian policemen. He was being taken from one state to another when the said encounter took place.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for the web series, producer Shailesh Singh has acquired the rights to make the series on the gangster. He told Mid-Day, "I had been following the events closely and thought, why not tell this story to the entire nation and bring out the facts?"</p>

<p>"It's a recent event, and they are still coping with it. Many people had approached them, but we managed to convince them after much persuasion. They want his story to be depicted with authenticity," Singh added.</p>

<p>Indian filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has joined hands with 4 other directors to make a film on the coronavirus pandemic. After giving us films like ‘Article 15’, ‘Thappad’ and others, the filmmaker is teaming up with directors like Hansal Mehta, Sudhir Mishra, ketan Mehta and Subhash Kapoor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The foursome will be producing the film under Anubhav Sinha’s production banner, ‘Benaras Mediaworks’.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Talking of the project, Anubhav said, “It will be an interesting bunch of names, to tell stories of an interesting time in our lives. We will all interpret this period - starting February/March 2020 - and we will all tell a story from it."</p>

Sudhir bhai's driver had contracted Covid-19 and he was unable to get a bed - and we were making all sorts of phone calls just to get him a hospital bed. Sudhir bhai's driver had contracted Covid-19 and he was unable to get a bed - and we were making all sorts of phone calls just to get him a hospital bed. <p>Earlier on Tuesday, Sinha had tweeted to declare he was resigning from Bollywood, given the current state of affairs of the industry.</p>

<p>The filmmaker has also changed his Twitter profile from Anubhav Sinha to Anubhav Sinha (Not Bollywood).</p>

<p>Sinha`s Tuesday tweet set off a huge reaction on social media, with filmmakers Sudhir Mishra and Hansal Mehta taking sides with him.</p>

Co-owner of Phantom Films, Vikas misused his power and assaulted women subordinate to him.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Commenting on the issue, Hansal Mehta condemned Vikas’s behaviour and angrily tweeted: “Will anybody do anything about this bloody creep or will the industry protect him like it always does? Wish I could do more than just speak out. As a father of two girls, I fear them having to deal with such predators just because nobody took any action against Bahl — on the contrary, a major star has acted in his new film. Who is empowered here? The victim or the creep?”&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hansal was obviously referring to Hrithik Roshan who is currently working with Vikas on ‘Super 30’, their upcoming film together. This, however, did not go down well with Hrithik’s fans who trolled him for the remark.&nbsp;</p>

<em>Omert&agrave;</em>, a gritty thriller based on terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh&rsquo;s life, has been <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/omerta-first-poster-rajkummar-rao-all-set-to-play-dreaded-terrorist-omar-saeed-shaikh-in-hansal-mehtas-latest-35531">making ripples ever since the poster was launched</a>. Rajkummar Rao&rsquo;s intense look and real-life locations in the trailer have left the audience wanting for more. The film, Hansal Mehta says, is an expos&eacute; about state-sponsored terrorism. The filmmakers went through intensive research to make every aspect of the film credible.<br />

Good research notwithstanding, Hansal Mehta has done something that has never been done before- he has purchased real life footage from a number of sources. Omar Sheikh was a mastermind behind several terrorist attacks all over the world. Mehta&rsquo;s research unearthed links between Sheikh and dreaded terrorist Osama Bin Laden and the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Centre.&nbsp;<br />
This footage includes clips of the Kandahar attack, media footage following the 9/11 attack and other clips from a whole range of sources. The sum spent on the footage is undisclosed, but the sources are credible.<br />
