"Being dodged from person to another just to ask for our own money which was promised to be cleared within 45-60 working days post completion which in itself is also unprofessional but the crew graciously agreed as we are a bunch driven by passion for filmmaking."</p>

<p>"But to exploit this passion to such an extent should not be acceptable. There is no hope of getting paid but this post is to make the countless others aware of this fraudulent practices by @pooja_ent @jackkybhagnani @vashubhagnani and vouch to not work with them," the caption further read.</p>

<p>Scott's attorney, Bradford Cohen, issued a statement clarifying the situation. "Mr Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding. There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution," the statement read.</p>

The Gujarat High Court has lifted its temporary stay on the movie's premiere, stating that the film "is yet to be released for public viewing, thus on mere presumption, the freedom of expression guaranteed under Article 19 (1)(a) of the Constitution cannot be curtailed".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Justice Sangeeta K Vishen's judgement stated that the film, based on the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case, "is not targeted at hurting the sentiments of the Pushtimargi community".</p>

<p>"The film had been certified by the Central Board for Film Certification, an expert body after considering the relevant guidelines. The interim relief granted on June 13 has been vacated," the court said. "The core message of the film as rightly contended by the respondent, is that the film focuses on the social evil and fight for social reform by Karsandas Mulji who himself was from Vaishnavite community."</p>

<p>Directed by Sudha Kongara who also helmed the Tamil original, <em>Soorarai Pottru</em>, the film is set in the world of startups and the aviation industry.</p>

<p>The trailer shows Akshay's character overcoming obstacles and financial troubles to meet a business tycoon, played by Paresh Rawal, who also owns an airline in the country.</p>

<p>After getting insulted by the tycoon, Akshay's character is seen going on a solo journey and vowing to roll out tickets worth Rs 1 to make air travel affordable for "aam aadmi" or common man.</p>

<p>Angelina Jolie flaunted her fresh ink at the 2024 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 16). Donning a custom light-teal Atelier Versace velvet draped gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, the actress showed off what appears to be a new tiny bird tattoo.</p>

<p>In total, the 49-year-old has 16 more tats on her body. In August last year, her tattoo artist Mr K gave a sneak peek of her two geometric abstract dagger tattoos on the inside of her hands.</p>

<p>She also has a Buddhist scripture tattoo on her back, which is written in Yantra style. She got her back tattoos in Thailand in 2016.</p>

<p>At the 2024 Critics Choice Real TV Awards, Peacock's series The Traitors emerged as the biggest winner, clinching four awards, including best competition series, best ensemble cast in an unscripted series, and two individual accolades for its host Alan Cumming.</p>

<p>Apple TV+'s The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy also received two awards: best unstructured series and best travel/adventure show, making it the only other show to secure multiple awards on Saturday night.</p>

<p>Tom Bergeron received the inaugural Sam Rubin Award, named in memory of the KTLA anchor and longtime Critics Choice board member who passed away last month. John Walsh was awarded the career achievement award, presented by his son, Callahan.</p>

<p>Hosted by Randy and Jason Sklar, the sixth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards celebrated excellence in nonfiction, unscripted, and reality programming across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms.</p>

At the 2024 Critics Choice Real TV Awards, Peacock's series The Traitors emerged as the biggest winner, clinching four awards, including best competition series, best ensemble cast in an unscripted series, and two individual accolades for its host Alan Cumming.

Hosted by Randy and Jason Sklar, the sixth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards celebrated excellence in nonfiction, unscripted, and reality programming across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. <p>The Master of Music concert in Mumbai has brought together an amalgamation of talents from Indian classical music. During an exclusive conversation with WION, Grammy-winning violinist, Laxminarayan Shenkar spoke&nbsp;about his participation in the concert. Shenkar seemed largely hazy on the details, and years when he made his accomplishments in the field of music. &nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Tell us about your journey in Shakti? &nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>(A bit hazy on the details)&nbsp;Shakti started in the early 73. At that time we had a player Ramnad Raghavan who joined us from New York City. John Mclaughlin and I were also part of the band. We used to study together. Later Zakir Hussain joined the band. After that, Raghavan wanted to leave the band due to its high energy, and that's when Vikku Vinayakram joined us. So that is how Shakti started. &nbsp;<br />
&nbsp;<br />
<strong>So you won your Grammy in 1994 I believe? You have collaborated with some stalwarts from show business. &nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>Yes. I had worked on 'The Last Temptation of Christ' with Peter Gabriel. Martin Scorsese was the producer of the film. I was involved with another film, 'Born into Brothels', that also won the Oscar... I am not sure which year. Then, I also worked on Mel Gibson's 'The Passion of The Christ'. Yeah, I have made many albums and collaborated with various artists.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>How important are these awards to you? &nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>They don't mean anything to me really. I am a simple guy. My parents used to say to bring awards etc. But over the years, &nbsp;I have lost a Platinum Award that I had won. See what happens, when I get all these awards I keep them in storage. Many have asked me why you don't display them in your house or studio. But I don't like to do that. I believe you are as good as you are today. For me what is important is what I am doing now, not what I have accomplished. Honestly, I am not interested in the awards. But I cannot refuse some of them because that will affect the team. &nbsp;<br />

<strong>How important is this Master of Music concert for you? &nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>It is going to be an amazing concert, I know that. Percussionists like Vikku Vinayakram will be performing at the event. He is amazing, I used to perform with him even before the formation of Shakti. His son and grandson, V Selvaganesh and Swaminathan Selvaganesh will also be joining us on stage. They are all going to stun the audience with their performances. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Tabla player Fazal Quereshi will also be joining us. I have played with him a lot previously. So you see with this kind of a supergroup, I can say that this concert is going to be an extraordinary event. &nbsp;<br />

<strong>So, you studied Physics in college. Has anything from the subject helped you in your music career?&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>My parents wanted me to go to college. They felt that I wouldn't be able to make a living by being a musician. But I wanted to do only music. &nbsp;</p>

<p>I was a Physics major at Loyola College. I had a course called Sound. It was really amazing. Using that knowledge, I designed my violin, the 10-string stereophonic Double Violin. (Takes out the instrument and shows it to us).&nbsp;</p>

<p>(The Double Violin covers the entire range of the orchestra: bass, cello, viola and violin.)&nbsp;<br />

<strong>What was the reason for changing the vowels in your name? Shankar to Shenkar.&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>I changed it due to numerology. Also, when I did the music for the TV series, 'Heroes', my name would get credited as Shenkar. Then nobody would have any expectations from&nbsp;me. I remember when I was doing the music for 'The Passion of The Christ', I used to get a lot of hate mails. &nbsp;</p>

<p>People would write to me 'You're a Hindu, how can you do the music for a movie on Christ'. But for me, music was my religion. &nbsp;</p>

<p>So, when I changed my name and released albums, and solo records, they started listening only to my music. &nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>I was reading that your family escaped from Sri Lanka and came to India. Did you flee from the riots? &nbsp;</strong><br />
Yes. Back then there were lots of riots. One day, one of the locals who worked with my mother told me to get out of there, or else rioters would lock my home and burn my house. So, we all escaped through a forest. We eventually shifted to India.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Later in my life, I got involved in music because it gave me a lot of peace. I use my music to heal myself. I was deeply influenced by people like Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. All of these in bits and pieces, helped me find peace. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>Actor Joe Alwyn has clarified in a recent interview that he has never visited "The Black Dog," a pub mentioned in Taylor Swift's&nbsp;song from her latest album <em>The Tortured Poets Department</em>. He revealed that he had never visited Vauxhall while discussing his hobbies.</p>

<p>During an interview with The Sunday Times, the 33-year-old actor revealed that his hobbies include typical activities like socialising with friends, travelling, and visiting pubs.</p>

<p>Alwyn, who dated Swift for six years, was asked if his favourite pub might be The Black Dog in Vauxhall, London, referring to Taylor's song. In response, he said, "I've never been to Vauxhall."</p>

<p>Swift’s song, believed by fans to be about one of her exes, describes someone entering The Black Dog. This deal included all songs released by Bieber up until the end of 2021, covering six studio albums and several hit singles like "Baby," "Boyfriend," "Sorry," and "Peaches." Hipgnosis now holds a 100% stake in profits from Bieber's writing and recording credits, along with neighbouring rights, which generate revenue from public plays of his songs in various venues.
