He returns to the city to reconnect with her and help solve a case. Foley "is not Superman," Murphy said. "He's every man, every guy who doesn't play by the rules. He's the kind of guy you want to have a beer with."</p>

<p>The movie - the fourth in the franchise and the first since 1994 - aims to capture the look and feel of the original without modern special effects. The action takes place through real-life stunts such as a harrowing helicopter chase across Los Angeles.</p>

<p>"What was more difficult was all the physical stuff," Murphy said. "I'm in my 60s now and I did the first one (at) 21 years old, so you can imagine the differences." She has accused Doillon of abuse on set when she acted in one of his films.</p>

<p>Fellow actor Isild Le Besco, 41, has also formally accused Jacquot of raping her between 1998 and 2007 during a toxic relationship that started when she was 16 and he was 52.&nbsp; Actor Julia Roy, 34, has also filed a complaint against him for sexual assault, during "a context of violence and moral constraint which lasted several years", a source close to the case said.</p>

<p>The director's lawyers said there had been no need to detain them in order to question them, and stressed they should be considered innocent until proven guilty.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a statement released immediately after the ruling, Boutonnat announced he would step down as head of the CNC, a government agency whose role includes overseeing measures to curb sexual violence in the industry.</p>

<p>He will be able to serve his one-year jail term at home wearing an electronic bracelet, said the Nanterre criminal court. Boutonnat, 54, was also banned from having any contact with the victim for three years.</p>

<p>In its verdict, the court ruled that the “plaintiff’s version was more credible” than that of Boutonnat who, according to the court, always exercised “a real influence” over his godson.</p>

<p>In the statement released by the CNC, Boutonnat “reaffirmed his innocence” and said he would appeal.</p>

<p>The young man accused Boutonnat of trying to masturbate him during a holiday in Greece in 2020 when he was 19. In court, the young man has described Boutonnat as “more than a godfather”.</p>
