Twitter is not just dumping employees, it's also getting rid of hundreds of office items. You heard that right, the company is planning to auction off dozens of items from its office in San Francisco.

Elon Musk is no longer richest man in the world, LVMH's Arnault has taken over Musk as world's richest person. Tesla CEO's wealth has been cut in half from 340 billion dollar peak. The major drop in wealth was due to Twitter purchase.

World Business Watch: Elon Musk no longer world's richest, loses tile to LVMH's Arnault

<p>As Elon Musk moves to make Twitter profitable, the Tesla CEO is reportedly implementing several new cost-cutting measures. A New York Times report said the Twitter boss has instructed employees to not pay vendors or even pay the rent for any of its offices including its headquarters in San Francisco.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This comes as the company faces potential lawsuits and has also recently fired nearly half of its workforce. The report citing a New Hampshire lawsuit also claims that Musk has not paid the rent for the headquarters or its several global offices in weeks and is attempting to negotiate the terms of its lease agreements.&nbsp;<br />

Meanwhile, the US-based company is also considering not paying severance to the thousands of employees who were fired and promised they would get three months' pay and one month of severance. Reportedly, there were discussions about the possibility of not paying severance at all as well as the consequences which could invite more lawsuits by the former employees.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Regarding Twitter’s reduction in force, unfortunately there is no choice when the company is losing over $4M/day. Everyone exited was offered 3 months of severance, which is 50% more than legally required,” Musk had said at the time of the mass layoffs. The company had slashed its over 7,000 employee workforce to nearly 2,000.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Elon Musk the billionaire entrepreneur is constantly in news these days, especially after his purchase of social media giant Twitter. The fourth instalment of Twitter Files shared by Elon Musk reveals how senior executives of the company sought a change in policies and created justification on January 7 for permanently banning Donald Trump from the microblogging platform.

Elon Musk met with 'crowd of boos' at Dave Chapelle show on eve of Twitter blue relaunch. Watch!

<p>Twitter staffers believed that tweets by former US President Donald Trump in the run-up to January 6 Capital riots did not violate the company's policies, revealed the fifth instalment of Elon Musk's 'Twitter Files'. The microblogging platform, then led by Jack Dorsey,&nbsp;had famously said that Trump had violated Twitter's policies by using the platform to 'incite violence'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"For years, Twitter had resisted calls both internal and external to ban Trump on the grounds that blocking a world leader from the platform or removing their controversial tweets would hide important information that people should be able to see and debate," Bari Weiss of The Free Press wrote toward while unveiling the fifth instalment of 'Twitter Files'.</p>

<p>"But after January 6, as @mtaibbi and @shellenbergermd have documented, pressure grew, both inside and outside of Twitter, to ban Trump."</p>

<p><b>'Employee advocacy' led to Trump's Twitter ban</b></p>

<p>Bari Weiss published the screenshots of the internal Slack conversations of Twitter employees. The screenshots showed that after January 6 Capital riots, Twitter employees organised to demand Trump's ban from the platform.&nbsp;‘There is a lot of employee advocacy happening,’ one Twitter employee can be read as saying.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>WATCH&nbsp;|&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wionews.com/videos/twitter-files-30-is-out-how-trump-was-de-platformed-541747">Twitter files 3.0 is out: How Trump was de-platformed</a></strong></p>

<p>However, there were dissenters who didn't agree with the wider opinion that Trump should be banned from the platform. "Maybe because I am from China, I deeply understand how censorship can destroy the public conversation," one employee is seen having said in the screenshot shared by Bari Weiss.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After "over 300 Twitter employees" signed an open letter to ban Donald Trump from the platform, Twitter staff was assigned to evaluate the former US president's tweets that supposedly violated the platform's&nbsp;policy.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Weiss said,&nbsp;"Twitter staff assigned to evaluate tweets quickly concluded that Trump had *not* violated Twitter’s policies."</p>

<p>"I think we’d have a hard time saying this is incitement," a staffer said, according to Weiss. "It's pretty clear he's saying the ‘American Patriots’ are the ones who voted for him and not the terrorists (we can call them that, right?) from Wednesday."</p>

<p>"Don’t see the incitement angle here," another staffer agreed, per Weiss.</p>

<p><strong>Donald Trump's last tweet did not violate Twitter policies too</strong></p>

<p>Trump's last tweet before being banned from the platform stated that he will not attend then-president-elect Joe Biden's inauguration ceremony. According to Twitter Files 5.0, the platform's safety team concluded at the time: "It's a clear no vio(lation). It's just to say he's not attending the inauguration."</p>

<p>"Less than 90 minutes after Twitter employees had determined that Trump’s tweets were not in violation of Twitter policy, Vijaya Gadde—Twitter’s Head of Legal, Policy, and Trust—asked whether it could, in fact, be ‘coded incitement to further violence,’" Weiss reported in Twitter Files 5.0.</p>

<p>"A few minutes later, Twitter employees on the ‘scaled enforcement team’ suggest that Trump’s tweet may have violated Twitter’s Glorification of Violence policy—if you interpreted the phrase ‘American Patriots’ to refer to the rioters."</p>

<p>"Things escalate from there," Weiss continued. "Members of that team came to ‘view him as the leader of a terrorist group responsible for violence/deaths comparable to Christchurch shooter or Hitler and on that basis and on the totality of his Tweets, he should be de-platformed.’</p>

<p>Weiss then wrote about&nbsp;the 30-minute all-staff meeting led by Dorsey and Gadde, who were confronted by staffers about why Trump had not been banned.</p>

Twitter staffers believed that tweets by former US President Donald Trump in the run-up to January 6 Capital riots did not violate the company's policies, revealed the fifth instalment of Elon Musk's 'Twitter Files'.

Twitter staffers believed that tweets by former US President Donald Trump in the run-up to January 6 Capital riots did not violate the company's policies, revealed the fifth instalment of Elon Musk's 'Twitter Files'. The microblogging platform, then led by Jack Dorsey, had famously said that Trump had violated Twitter's policies by using the platform to 'incite violence'. "For years, Twitter had resisted calls both internal and external to ban Trump on the grounds that blocking a world leader from the platform or removing their controversial tweets would hide important information that people should be able to see and debate," Bari Weiss of The Free Press wrote toward while unveiling the fifth instalment of 'Twitter Files'. ALSO READ | Elon Musk's second installment of Twitter Files reveals how right-wing users were targeted "But after January 6, as @mtaibbi and @shellenbergermd have documented, pressure grew, both inside and outside of Twitter, to ban Trump." 'Employee advocacy' led to Trump's Twitter ban Bari Weiss published the screenshots of the internal Slack conversations of Twitter employees. The screenshots showed that after January 6 Capital riots, Twitter employees organised to demand Trump's ban from the platform. ‘There is a lot of employee advocacy happening,’ one Twitter employee can be read as saying. WATCH | Twitter files 3.0 is out: How Trump was de-platformed However, there were dissenters who didn't agree with the wider opinion that Trump should be banned from the platform. "Maybe because I am from China, I deeply understand how censorship can destroy the public conversation," one employee is seen having said in the screenshot shared by Bari Weiss. After "over 300 Twitter employees" signed an open letter to ban Donald Trump from the platform, Twitter staff was assigned to evaluate the former US president's tweets that supposedly violated the platform's policy. ALSO READ | Twitter Files 4.0 reveal how executives changed policies to permanently ban Trump Weiss said, "Twitter staff assigned to evaluate tweets quickly concluded that Trump had *not* violated Twitter’s policies." "I think we’d have a hard time saying this is incitement," a staffer said, according to Weiss. "It's pretty clear he's saying the ‘American Patriots’ are the ones who voted for him and not the terrorists (we can call them that, right?) from Wednesday." "Don’t see the incitement angle here," another staffer agreed, per Weiss. Donald Trump's last tweet did not violate Twitter policies too Trump's last tweet before being banned from the platform stated that he will not attend then-president-elect Joe Biden's inauguration ceremony. According to Twitter Files 5.0, the platform's safety team concluded at the time: "It's a clear no vio(lation). It's just to say he's not attending the inauguration." "Less than 90 minutes after Twitter employees had determined that Trump’s tweets were not in violation of Twitter policy, Vijaya Gadde—Twitter’s Head of Legal, Policy, and Trust—asked whether it could, in fact, be ‘coded incitement to further violence,’" Weiss reported in Twitter Files 5.0. "A few minutes later, Twitter employees on the ‘scaled enforcement team’ suggest that Trump’s tweet may have violated Twitter’s Glorification of Violence policy—if you interpreted the phrase ‘American Patriots’ to refer to the rioters." "Things escalate from there," Weiss continued. "Members of that team came to ‘view him as the leader of a terrorist group responsible for violence/deaths comparable to Christchurch shooter or Hitler and on that basis and on the totality of his Tweets, he should be de-platformed.’ Weiss then wrote about the 30-minute all-staff meeting led by Dorsey and Gadde, who were confronted by staffers about why Trump had not been banned. "One hour later, Twitter announces Trump’s permanent suspension ‘due to the risk of further incitement of violence.’ Many at Twitter were ecstatic," Weiss wrote, sharing communications from staffers celebrating the Trump ban. The Trump ban then inspired a crackdown by the platform on "medical misinformation," with Weiss reporting that the next day a renewed push by the tech giant, according to internal communications. 'My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci': Elon Musk takes a dig at US' top infectious disease expert

<p>Elon Musk laid off employees earlier in one of the measures he took to cut costs after $44 billion Twitter buyout. The Twitter chief had also instructed teams to find over $1 billion in yearly infrastructure cost savings by reducing cloud services and extra server space, as per Reuters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>And guess what? Now Elon Musk is selling Twitter HQ items! But is it true that it is to support the company financially by garnering extra cash? According to the latest reports, Musk is prepared to auction off items from Twitter's headquarters. On January 17, Twitter CEO Elon Musk will hold an auction for items and souvenirs from the company's headquarters in San Francisco.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The items that will be up for sale by Heritage Global Partners are listed on the website BidSpotter. Bidding starts on January 17, 2023, at 7 a.m. Pacific Time and concludes on January 18, at 10 a.m. The firm will be floating a number of items during the bidding process, such as a sizable statue of the Twitter bird, a projector, iMac displays, espresso machines, seats, and kitchenware, with beginning bids ranging from 25 to 50 dollars.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier, Musk started converting some of the Twitter headquarters' rooms into beds and most recently instructed staff to begin working solely out of Twitter's San Francisco office. Among the items up for sale are a 3-foot monument of the Twitter Bird, a 6-foot "@" sign with artificial plants that can be changed out for real plants, and bicycles that can charge your phone are just a few of the unusual items on display. Numerous display screens, iMac monitors, and grey swivel office chairs are also included in the auction's offerings, along with loads of industrial kitchen equipment including refrigerators and pizza ovens.</p>

<p>Elon Musk is accused of taking the controversial cost-cutting strategy, which included firing almost half of the company's personnel and prompting the workers to file a lawsuit against him. The layoffs, according to the workers, violated many labour laws. Anyone who believes the sale is a part of safeguarding finances is a "moron," according to Nick Dove, head of Heritage Global Partners, the organisation coordinating the bidding told CNN.</p>

<p>The fourth instalment of Twitter Files shared by Elon Musk reveals how senior executives of the company sought a change in policies and created justification on January 7 for permanently banning Donald Trump from the microblogging platform.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Journalist Michael Shellenberger posted part 4 of Twitter files, exposing how strategies were made at the Twitter office on January 7, a day after which supporters of former U.S. president Donald Trump staged a failed protest at Capitol Hill.</p>

<p>At the start of his Twitter thread, Shellenberger shares an old Twitter public policy post dated January 6, 2018, which reads, “Blocking a world leader from Twitter or removing their controversial Tweets would hide important information people should be able to see and debate. It would also not silence that leader, but it would certainly hamper necessary discussion around their words and actions.”&nbsp;</p>

As the pressure builds, Twitter executives build the case for a permanent ban</p>

<p><strong>How it started</strong></p>

<p>He explains how Twitter was earlier resistive to calls for banning Trump, however, after the Capitol Hill protest, external and internal pressure to permanently ban Trump grew on Twitter's then-CEO Jack Dorsey.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Dorsey was on vacation in French Polynesia the week of January 4-8, 2021. He phoned into meetings but also delegated much of the handling of the situation to senior execs @yoyoel, Twitter’s Global Head of Trust and Safety, and @vijaya Head of Legal, Policy, &amp; Trust,” Shellenberger wrote.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Explaining the extremely partisan nature of the Twitter staff, he stated that in 2018, 2020, and 2022, 96%, 98%, &amp; 99% of political donations made by Twitter staff went to Democrats. He also shares one of the tweets of Yoel Roth, one of the then executives of Twitter, claiming that there are “ACTUAL NAZIS IN THE WHITE HOUSE.”&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Changing policies of Twitter</strong></p>

<p>Shellenberger, in his report, states that an email sent by Dorsey to the employees on January 7 saying that there is a need to remain consistent with the policies, which includes users' right to return to Twitter after they are suspended temporarily.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“After, Roth reassures an employee that "people who care about this... aren't happy with where we are (sic),” he further writes. Shellenberger then reveals that Roth sent messages to his colleagues around 11:30 am to share a piece of news, filled with excitement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In his report, he quotes Roth as saying, “GUESS WHAT. Jack just approved repeat offender for civic integrity. "The new approach would create a system where five violations ("strikes") would result in permanent suspension," Shellenberger writes.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>ALSO READ|</strong>&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wionews.com/world/elon-musks-second-installment-of-twitter-files-reveals-how-right-wing-users-were-targeted-541462">Elon Musk's second installment of Twitter Files reveals how right-wing users were targeted</a></p>

<p>Shellenberger states that messages exchanged between Roth and his colleague make&nbsp;it clear how Dorsey was forced to place greater restrictions on the speech which is allowed by Twitter during elections.</p>

<p>He explains how they then discuss if Trump can be banned finally, and that “does the incitement to violence aspect change that calculus?” to which “Roth says it doesn't. "Trump continues to just have his one strike" (remaining).”&nbsp;</p>

<p>He emphasises the query regarding "incitement to violence", further highlighting how Twitter had stated that the reason for permanently banning Trump was the "risk of further incitement of violence".&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Setting the narrative</strong></p>

<p>Shellenberger says that no concerns were expressed within Twitter over Trump's banning, except by one junior-level employee who had sent a message saying, "this might be an unpopular opinion but one off ad hoc decisions like this that don't appear rooted in policy are imho (in my honest opinion) a slippery slope...This now appears to be a fiat by an online platform CEO with a global presence that can gatekeep speech for the entire world".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Shellenberger explains how employees started understanding the difference between the&nbsp;policies of Twitter and their political beliefs which is revealed in the internal communication of Twitter over censoring the #stopthesteal hashtag.</p>

<p>Roth said that the hashtag should be de-amplified and blacklisted but was warned that this will also affect those using the hashtag to make counter-allegations over rigged elections.</p>

<p><strong>WATCH |</strong></p>

<div class="videoWrapper trancodeVideo"><iframe allowfullscreen="" autoplay="1" class="includeVideo" frameborder="0" height="350" src="https://www.wionews.com/videos/the-twitter-files-how-twitter-handled-hunter-biden-story-539712/embed" style="width:100%;max-width:560px;" width="560"></iframe></div>

<p>Roth after realising that the same hashtag is being used by Democrats to call out Donald Trump and say that the 2020 US Presidential election was held fairly, suggested to “de-amplify accounts with #stopthesteal in the name/profile since those are not affiliated with counterspeech”.&nbsp;</p>

The fourth instalment of Twitter Files shared by Elon Musk reveals how senior executives of the company sought a change in policies and created justification on January 7 for permanently banning Donald Trump from the microblogging platform. Journalist Michael Shellenberger posted part 4 of Twitter files, exposing how strategies were made at the Twitter office on January 7, a day after which supporters of former U.S. president Donald Trump staged a failed protest at Capitol Hill. At the start of his Twitter thread, Shellenberger shares an old Twitter public policy post dated January 6, 2018, which reads, “Blocking a world leader from Twitter or removing their controversial Tweets would hide important information people should be able to see and debate. It would also not silence that leader, but it would certainly hamper necessary discussion around their words and actions.” 1. TWITTER FILES, PART 4 The Removal of Donald Trump: January 7 As the pressure builds, Twitter executives build the case for a permanent ban — Michael Shellenberger (@ShellenbergerMD) December 10, 2022 How it started He explains how Twitter was earlier resistive to calls for banning Trump, however, after the Capitol Hill protest, external and internal pressure to permanently ban Trump grew on Twitter's then-CEO Jack Dorsey. “Dorsey was on vacation in French Polynesia the week of January 4-8, 2021. He phoned into meetings but also delegated much of the handling of the situation to senior execs @yoyoel, Twitter’s Global Head of Trust and Safety, and @vijaya Head of Legal, Policy, & Trust,” Shellenberger wrote. ALSO READ| Twitter Files 3.0 reveal how Donald Trump was deplatformed by ‘Supreme Court of moderation’ Explaining the extremely partisan nature of the Twitter staff, he stated that in 2018, 2020, and 2022, 96%, 98%, & 99% of political donations made by Twitter staff went to Democrats. He also shares one of the tweets of Yoel Roth, one of the then executives of Twitter, claiming that there are “ACTUAL NAZIS IN THE WHITE HOUSE.” Changing policies of Twitter Shellenberger, in his report, states that an email sent by Dorsey to the employees on January 7 saying that there is a need to remain consistent with the policies, which includes users' right to return to Twitter after they are suspended temporarily. “After, Roth reassures an employee that "people who care about this... aren't happy with where we are (sic),” he further writes. Shellenberger then reveals that Roth sent messages to his colleagues around 11:30 am to share a piece of news, filled with excitement. In his report, he quotes Roth as saying, “GUESS WHAT. Jack just approved repeat offender for civic integrity. "The new approach would create a system where five violations ("strikes") would result in permanent suspension," Shellenberger writes. ALSO READ| Elon Musk's second installment of Twitter Files reveals how right-wing users were targeted Shellenberger states that messages exchanged between Roth and his colleague make it clear how Dorsey was forced to place greater restrictions on the speech which is allowed by Twitter during elections. He explains how they then discuss if Trump can be banned finally, and that “does the incitement to violence aspect change that calculus?” to which “Roth says it doesn't. "Trump continues to just have his one strike" (remaining).” He emphasises the query regarding "incitement to violence", further highlighting how Twitter had stated that the reason for permanently banning Trump was the "risk of further incitement of violence". Setting the narrative Shellenberger says that no concerns were expressed within Twitter over Trump's banning, except by one junior-level employee who had sent a message saying, "this might be an unpopular opinion but one off ad hoc decisions like this that don't appear rooted in policy are imho (in my honest opinion) a slippery slope...This now appears to be a fiat by an online platform CEO with a global presence that can gatekeep speech for the entire world". Shellenberger explains how employees started understanding the difference between the policies of Twitter and their political beliefs which is revealed in the internal communication of Twitter over censoring the #stopthesteal hashtag. Roth said that the hashtag should be de-amplified and blacklisted but was warned that this will also affect those using the hashtag to make counter-allegations over rigged elections. WATCH | Roth after realising that the same hashtag is being used by Democrats to call out Donald Trump and say that the 2020 US Presidential election was held fairly, suggested to “de-amplify accounts with #stopthesteal in the name/profile since those are not affiliated with counterspeech”. Considering that too many Twitter accounts belonging to Republicans and conservatives were sharing screenshots of tweets from the suspended account of Donald Trump, the employees at Twitter suggested that such handles should be placed under a 12-hour long review. However, they faced the challenge of distinguishing Democrats from Republicans, as the former party members were also posting tweets to mock Trump. Shellenberger, in his ‘Twitter Files 4.0’, reveals Roth went on to change Twitter policies so that the banning of Trump’s account can be justified. “In this specific case, we’re changing our public interest approach for his account,” Roth said.

<p>The second installment of the ‘Twitter Files’ was shared on the social medial platform, revealing chilling details of the company’s policies of “secretly blacklisting” the tweets of certain users, especially of those subscribing to&nbsp;right-wing ideologies, before Elon Musk took over.</p>

<p>The ‘Twitter Files’ are a cache of internal documents and communications of Twitter Inc from 2020, shared by owner Elon Musk with journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss.</p>

<p>The first lot, shared last week by Taibbi, shed light on Twitter's deliberate attempt to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story&nbsp;during the 2020 presidential election.</p>

<p>On Thursday, it was Weiss’s turn to share the second part of the dark policies undertaken by Twitter.</p>

<p>“A new #TwitterFiles investigation reveals that teams of Twitter employees build blacklists, prevent disfavoured tweets from trending, and actively limit the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics—all in secret, without informing users," Weiss said on her Twitter thread.&nbsp;</p>

<p>2) In another screenshot, Weiss showed how popular right-wing talk show host Dan Bongino at one point was slapped with a “Search Blacklist” and Twitter had Turning Point USA's Charlie Kirk on "Do Not Amplify."</p>

<p>3) Weiss argued that Twitter had initially denied suppressing the voice of certain users.</p>

<p>4) In 2018, Twitter's Vijaya Gadde (then Head of Legal Policy and Trust) and Kayvon Beykpour (Head of Product) said: “We do not shadow ban.” They added: “And we certainly don’t shadow-ban, based on political viewpoints or ideology.”</p>

<p>4) Weiss, citing sources, further claimed that Twitter executives and employees used “shadow banning process” or “Visibility Filtering (VF)” to suppress voices.</p>

<p>5) She claimed that Twitter used VF to block searches of individual users; to limit the scope of a particular tweet’s discoverability; to block select users’ posts from ever appearing on the “trending” page; and from inclusion in hashtag searches.</p>

<p>6) “We control visibility quite a bit. And we control the amplification of your content quite a bit. And normal people do not know how much we do," one Twitter engineer told Weiss.</p>

The second installment of the ‘Twitter Files’ was shared on the social medial platform, revealing chilling details of the company’s policies of “secretly blacklisting” the tweets of certain users, especially of those subscribing to right-wing ideologies, before Elon Musk took over. The ‘Twitter Files’ are a cache of internal documents and communications of Twitter Inc from 2020, shared by owner Elon Musk with journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss. The first lot, shared last week by Taibbi, shed light on Twitter's deliberate attempt to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story during the 2020 presidential election. On Thursday, it was Weiss’s turn to share the second part of the dark policies undertaken by Twitter. “A new #TwitterFiles investigation reveals that teams of Twitter employees build blacklists, prevent disfavoured tweets from trending, and actively limit the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics—all in secret, without informing users," Weiss said on her Twitter thread. <p>ChatGPT is a dialogue-based AI chatbot, which can understand human language and can generate human-like written text in response. Since its announcement, it has taken the internet by storm as people are both fascinated and concerned at how intelligent the AI-powered bot sounds. Some people are even calling it a replacement for Google as it is capable of giving solutions to complex queries and problems directly, almost like humans.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>What is exactly ChatGPT?</strong></h2>

<p>ChatGPT is a prototype for a dialogue-based AI chatbot that will understand natural human language and generate natural human-like written text with impressive detailing. It is the latest evolution of the GPT or Generative Pre-Trained Transformer, which is a family of text-generating AIs.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>What makes it different from other chatbots?</strong></h2>

<p>Generally, chatbots are software that simulates human conversation or "chatter" through text or voice interactions. The conversation is either done via text or text-to-speech in order to provide direct contact with a live human agent. GPT on the other hand works the same way by just using the technology of AI. It will interact in a more conversational way, in which it will answer follow-up questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests.</p>

<h2><strong>How does it work?</strong></h2>

<h2><strong>Could ChatGPT replace humans?</strong></h2>

ChatGPT is a dialogue-based AI chatbot, which can understand human language and can generate human-like written text in response. Since its announcement, it has taken the internet by storm as people are both fascinated and concerned at how intelligent the AI-powered bot sounds. Some people are even calling it a replacement for Google as it is capable of giving solutions to complex queries and problems directly, almost like humans. What is exactly ChatGPT? ChatGPT is a prototype for a dialogue-based AI chatbot that will understand natural human language and generate natural human-like written text with impressive detailing. It is the latest evolution of the GPT or Generative Pre-Trained Transformer, which is a family of text-generating AIs. What makes it different from other chatbots? Generally, chatbots are software that simulates human conversation or "chatter" through text or voice interactions. The conversation is either done via text or text-to-speech in order to provide direct contact with a live human agent. GPT on the other hand works the same way by just using the technology of AI. It will interact in a more conversational way, in which it will answer follow-up questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. How does it work? The system is trained with AI and machine learning to provide information and responses through a conversational interface instead of already system-generated or "computerised" responses. The AI is trained on a huge sample of text taken from the internet. The new AI in this system is created with a focus on the user's ease of use.
