"I was a bit emotional. I was here for seven years; changed jersey from red to blue. There was some nervousness and some emotion, but the moment I got the ball in my hand, it was full-on," Siraj said.&nbsp;
When asked about his celebration style, Siraj replied, "I am Ronaldo's fan and, hence, the celebration."

England great Jos Buttler top-scored for Gujarat, helping them complete the chase and win their second game in IPL 2025. Following Shubman Gill&rsquo;s dismissal inside the Powerplay, Buttler joined opener Sai Sudharsan in the middle, with the pair making light work of the RCB bowlers.&nbsp;
While Sai got out shy of yet another fifty-plus score in this tournament, Buttler remained unbeaten on 73 off 39 balls, hitting six sixes and five fours, continuing his incredible form with the bat.&nbsp;

A 39-year-old software engineer became a victim of a "digital arrest" scam and lost Rs 11.8 crore ($1.3 million) when fraudsters impersonating police officials claimed that his Aadhaar card was being misused to open bank accounts for money laundering, police said on Monday.
The fraud occurred between November 25 and December 12, they said.
According to police, in his complaint, the victim alleged that on November 11, he received a call from a person who claimed to be an officer of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The alleged officer claimed that his SIM card, which was linked to the Aadhaar card, was used for illegal advertisements and harassing messages.
The fraudster further alleged that a case was registered in connection with this in Mumbai's Colaba Cyber Police Station.

Karnataka, India
As the probe in the Bengaluru techie suicide case continues, details have emerged that Nikita Singhania, the estranged wife of 34-year-old techie Atul Subhash, changed her location every day and made calls only on WhatsApp to not get caught by the police.
Nikita also constantly tried to secure anticipatory bail after the techie's family filed a suicide abetment case against her.
However, a mistake by her and one phone call gave her location away, and the Bengaluru Police tracked her down to Gurugram, police sources told Indian news agency IANS.
While she moved to a PG accommodation in Gurugram, her mother and brother hid in Jhusi town in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district. They all communicated on WhatsApp calls.
But Nikita made one call, by mistake, to one of her close relatives. Following this, the police tracked the tower location and reached the PG accommodation in Gurugram's Rail Vihar, according to the sources.
<a href="https://www.wionews.com/india-news/atul-subhash-suicide-case-techies-wife-and-in-laws-arrested-by-police-784075">Also read: Atul Subhash suicide case: Bengaluru techie's wife and in-laws arrested by police</a>
The police then detained her and made her call her mother. When her mother received the call, police tracked them to Jhusi town and took them into custody.
Nikita was arrested from Gurugram, and at that time, her mother Nisha Singhania and brother Anurag Singhania were taken into custody by Prayagraj.
Meanwhile, Nikita's uncle Sushil Singhania, the fourth accused in the suicide abetment case, is still on the run.
Soon after the Bengaluru Police registered the case, the accused locked their home in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur and fled, the police sources said.
When the police reached Jaunpur, they pasted notices on their home, asking them to appear within three days.
The Bengaluru Police also made a list of the family's close relatives and kept an eye on them.
However, the accused only made calls on WhatsApp, which made it difficult for the police to track them.

The Singhanias also pleaded for anticipatory bail in the Allahabad High Court.
<h2>'Key challenge'</h2>
The key challenge in taking all three accused to Bengaluru was to ensure that co-passengers did not recognise Nikita during the journey during the late-night flight.
The three accused were taken to Bengaluru on a late-night flight, the police said, adding that they were extremely cautious in ensuring that the news of their detention was not out before reaching Bengaluru.
If the news had leaked, it would have created huge chaos, as the suicide of Atul Subhash has created a nationwide outrage.
<h2>'Never harassed Atul'</h2>
While being interrogated, Nikita said that she never harassed Atul and was in fact harassed by him. She further said that she would not have left their home if she wanted money.
The arrests were made days after the 34-year-old techie accused Nikita and her family of extortion and harassment in an over-an-hour-long video and died by suicide.

Nikita made a mistake when she made a phone call that gave away her location, and the Bengaluru police tracked her down to Gurugram, police sources told Indian news agency IANS.

Karnataka, India As the probe in the Bengaluru techie suicide case continues, details have emerged that Nikita Singhania, the estranged wife of 34-year-old techie Atul Subhash, changed her location every day and made calls only on WhatsApp to not get caught by the police. Nikita also constantly tried to secure anticipatory bail after the techie's family filed a suicide abetment case against her. However, a mistake by her and one phone call gave her location away, and the Bengaluru Police tracked her down to Gurugram, police sources told Indian news agency IANS. While she moved to a PG accommodation in Gurugram, her mother and brother hid in Jhusi town in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district. They all communicated on WhatsApp calls. But Nikita made one call, by mistake, to one of her close relatives. Following this, the police tracked the tower location and reached the PG accommodation in Gurugram's Rail Vihar, according to the sources. Meanwhile, Nikita's uncle Sushil Singhania, the fourth accused in the suicide abetment case, is still on the run. Soon after the Bengaluru Police registered the case, the accused locked their home in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur and fled, the police sources said. When the police reached Jaunpur, they pasted notices on their home, asking them to appear within three days. The Bengaluru Police also made a list of the family's close relatives and kept an eye on them. However, the accused only made calls on WhatsApp, which made it difficult for the police to track them. It doesn’t get more bizarre than this! Bollywood actor Mushtaq Khan, who worked with Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor in the comedy film Welcome, was recently kidnapped on the pretext of a private event. Mushtaq was invited to a private event and was kidnapped on his way to the venue. He was then tortured for 12 hours by kidnappers who demanded one crore (10 million) rupees as ransom to leave him without harm.&nbsp;

Mushtaq Khan is now safe but he and his family are under immense stress. The incident has shaken them completely.

<h2>How was Mushtaq Khan kidnapped?</h2>

Mushtaq's business partner, speaking to India Today website, said he was invited to an event with flight tickets and advance payment sent to his account.

When the actor reached Delhi airport, he was asked to sit in a car which drove him to the outskirts of Delhi, somewhere near Bijnor.

Mushtaq’s business partner Shivam then revealed that he was kidnapped from the Delhi-Meerut highway and tortured by those who took him. The torture continued for 12 hours.&nbsp;

The kidnappers took more than 200,000 rupees&nbsp;from the actor and his son’s account.

Shivam added that when Mushtaq heard the voice of Azaan early in the morning, he realised a mosque would be close by and ran away from the place.

He then sought help from people and the police to reach home.&nbsp;

Shivam told the portal, "Mushtaq sir and his family were completely shaken over what happened to him. However, he was always sure that he would file an FIR after he composed himself. Yesterday, I went to Bijnor and filed an official FIR. We have proof of the flight ticket, the bank accounts and even CCTV footage near the airport. He also recognises the neighbourhood, even the house where he was kept. I think the police team will surely get the culprits soon.”

<h2>Not a lone incident</h2>

Something similar happened with comedian Sunil Pal.

The comedian too was kidnapped after being invited for a private event. The kidnappers held him hostage, demanding a ransom of two million rupees. However, after negotiations, Sunil managed to secure his release by paying around 800,000 rupees.

As of now, Mushtaq Khan is said to be doing fine and is expected to address the media in a few days.
