<p>The report surveyed over 2,000 consumers aged 6-64 across 74 cities in June, and brought out the transformation in consumer behaviour in the beauty and personal care categories. The influence of online marketplaces, coupled with the emergence of new brands has fuelled the demand for beauty products, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.</p>

<p>The shift towards online purchases is significant, with 68 per cent of beauty buyers now preferring online transactions, marking a 15 per cent increase from pre-pandemic levels.</p>

<p>A Mint report cited Meghna Apparao, Director for Ecommerce and Retail for Meta in India, who emphasised the rapid growth of both beauty and fashion verticals on Meta platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. She highlighted the transformative impact of social media on the purchase experience, creating a pressing need for brands and marketers to engage with consumers differently, especially during festive and upcoming wedding seasons. <p>Previously, she held the position of senior product manager at Tesla, after having received her Bachelor of Engineering degree from The Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.</p>

<p>ASP Sanjeev Chauhan informed PTI news agency that the man had cut marks on his hand and neck, while the woman exhibited injury marks on her hand.</p>

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar shared a post on X social media platform on the development and wrote, "We continue to deliver humanitarian assistance to the people of Palestine."</p>

<p>The second aid shipment comprised of 32 tonnes and was transported by the Indian Air Force's C17 aircraft to Egypt's El-Arish Airport, situated approximately 45 kilometres from the Rafah crossing on Egypt’s border with the Gaza Strip. "Second Indian Air Force C17 aircraft carrying 32 tonnes of aid departs for the El-Arish Airport in Egypt," Jaishankar added in the post.&nbsp;</p>

<p>India had previously extended support to Palestine by sending the first batch of aid, including medical and disaster relief, on October 22. The Indian Air Force played a pivotal role in this delivery, dispatching nearly 6.5 tonnes of medical aid and 32 tonnes of disaster relief materials on an IAF C-17 flight.</p>
