<p>Tevi told AFP, "people on (Espiritu) Santo felt the earthquake, but couldn't go outside to assess the damage because of the high winds. They told me they didn't sleep well as the earthquake hit when they were already awake from the cyclone."</p>

<p>Back in January, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake also struck off Espiritu Santo, which prompted villagers to go to higher grounds and caused no major damage.</p>

<p>The annual World Risk Report ranked Vanuatu among one of&nbsp;the most susceptible countries to be hit by natural disasters like earthquakes, storm damage, flooding and tsunamis.</p>

<p>The officials began investigating on a child-luring and sexual assault case last year which led to Daniel's arrest in February.</p>

31-year-old Canadian man charged with 96 child sexual assault offences

<p>The Chinese-owned video sharing app TikTok will soon set a&nbsp;new default screen time limit of 60 minutes for its users under the age of 18. According to the app, if an individual hits the daily screen time limit, they will then have to enter a passcode to continue to use the service that day, which they will receive&nbsp;in their app only. It also stated that users will be given a choice to opt out of this new measure.</p>

<p>The social media company said it is introducing this new measure to help people "stay in control" of their use, which will roll out in the coming weeks, CNN reported.</p>

TikTok to set new one-hour daily screen time limit for users under 18 to help them 'stay in control'

<p>President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday congratulated the declared winner of&nbsp;Nigeria's presidential elections, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying he was the best man for the job.</p>

<p>Tinubu, candidate of Buhari's ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), won 8.8 million votes against 6.9 million for opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar and 6.1 million for the Labour Party's Peter Obi on Saturday's election, according to final results.</p>

<p>The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed Tinubu as president-elect after he also secured the required 25 per cent of votes in two-thirds of&nbsp;Nigeria's 36 states and capital.</p>
