According to DFCRC CEO Andreas Furche, the technology for a digital currency already exists; the project is instead focused on figuring out how a CBDC may benefit the country.

While on the other hand, as per Gershwin, she claimed that it was Chirodectes maculatus that was sighted once in 1997 in north Queensland. She and Peter Davie, a retired but still active curator from the Queensland Museum, assisted her. Both carefully examined the video and noted that the jellyfish was larger than what could fit in our hands, roughly the size of a soccer ball and other technical differences. In the end, they both concluded that it was some new species, most likely to belong to the same genus as spotted in 1997.

Mysterious jellyfish found off the coast of Papua New Guinea intrigues researchers

The National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) claims that the sex of sea turtles and alligators is determined by the temperature of developing eggs rather than during fertilisation. According to the NOAA’s Ocean Service website, a turtle’s eggs will hatch into male turtles if the temperature is below 81.86 Fahrenheit (Celsius 27.7) and female turtles if the temperature is over 88.8 Fahrenheit (31 C).

The manager of the turtle hospital in Marathon, Florida Keys, Bette Zirkelbach, stated that the last four summers in Florida were the hottest ones and it is a matter of concern. According to Zirkelbach, "Scientists that are studying sea turtle hatchlings and eggs have found no boy sea turtles, so only female sea turtles for the past four years," Reuters reported. He further stated that, according to research conducted in Australia, 99 per cent of new sea turtles born were females.

According to Melissa Rosales Rodriguez, a sea turtle keeper, over the years, there’ll be a severe reduction in the number of turtles due to a lack of genetic diversity. She said that they lack the male-to-female ratio required for breeding.

Zirkelbach recognised the need to preserve every turtle he could and establish more rehabilitation facilities because the future of sea turtles is being impacted by climate change.

As per a recent press release, the Uttar Pradesh government is all set to drape the tricolour over 42.6 million homes and over 5 million government and non-government offices as a part of India’s 75th-anniversary&nbsp;celebration of its Independence. The government recently launched "Har Ghar Tiranga", which runs from August 13 to August 15, and includes using the Indian Flag as the profile picture on all social media sites. The Uttar Pradesh government, taking part in the initiative to mark the Amrit Mahotsav, has already created 38.6 million tricolours as opposed to the aim of 42.6 million homes, ANI reported.

Over 9.6 million flags have been produced by women’s self-help groups. At the district level, at least 22.6 million flags must be produced.

According to the press release, "Of the total target, the MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) department of the state government has procured 20 million flags through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal while over 20,000 NGOs and private sewing units are working round the clock to produce around 11.5 million flags." The release further stated that NGOs, the UP Khadi and Village Industries Board, and private sewing units have so far produced nearly 3.64 million tricolours and stitched more than 3.53 million flags. Additionally, an order for 5 million flags for government and non-government organisations has already been fulfilled.
