All four of Jesus, Walker and staff members will now undergo a period of self-isolation in accordance with the Premier League and UK Government protocol on coronavirus quarantine.

In what will be a massive blow to Man City, both Jesus and Walker will now quarantine for 10 days and will miss Premier League matches against Newcastle United, Everton and Chelsea while returning a day before the Carabao Cup semi-final clash against Manchester United.

The Indian cricket team on Friday announced their playing XI for the Boxing Day Test against Australia, scheduled to start from December 26 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, as the visitors brought in the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant while handing debuts to youngsters Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj.&nbsp;

Asked if change in pace or style of bowling, like Bhuvneshwar has been trying, can have an impact on a fast bowler`s body, Matthews said: "Sometimes a bowler who is trying to get extra pace and extra swing, it takes a couple of seasons to get that right. At times, the body also takes time to adjust to take the new stress, trying to do new things. Unfortunately, it can be overloaded in certain areas. At the elite level you are so close to the maximum that to make changes becomes very difficult for your body and takes a long time to adjust."

The organisers of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 on Thursday said that they have reached “basic agreement” with all domestic sponsors to extend contracts by a year while securing the additional funds needed for the virus-postponed Games.

Keeping all 68 domestic sponsors intact for another year is crucial for Tokyo Olympics organisers as the cost of Games spiked because of the unprecedented delay and the need for COVID-19 countermeasures.

In a statement, Tokyo 2020 said the "basic agreement" meant they were now "proceeding with the conclusion of contracts with all partners."

However, the organisers refused to drawn on just when the final details would be locked in without providing details on how much individual contract extensions were worth.
