More than 75,000 workers at hundreds of Kaiser Permanente hospitals and medical facilities launched a strike Wednesday (Oct 4), which turned out to be one of the largest healthcare workers' strikes in recent US history. Kaiser Permanente is an umbrella group representing local unions based in Oakland.

This came after on Wednesday after failing to resolve a dispute over staffing levels. A coalition of unions alleged that the health care system is practising unfair labour practices.

A day on Venus is longer than a year as it takes longer to complete one orbit around the Sun than it does to revolve once on its axis. One day takes 243 Earth days, making it the longest day of any other planet in the solar system.

Despite being further away from the Sun, Venus is hotter than Mercury. Its mean temperature is 462°C.

Venus orbits the Sun, but clockwise, unlike other planets, which spin anti-clockwise on their axis.

Venus has 90 times the atmospheric pressure of Earth, which is roughly equivalent to the pressure observed at 1km depth in the Earth’s seas.

The second planet of our solar is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty, because of its bright, shining appearance in the sky.

Venus and Mercury are the only planets in our solar system that do not have a moon of their own.

5 common issues users face with iPhone 15s

Many users have said that one of the most common issues with iPhone 15 is overheating. Apple said that it is working on a software fix for the same.

Some users have complained that the battery of their latest iPhones is draining more quickly than normal.

Apart from overheating and draining issues, the battery of the iPhone 15 Pro is apparently swelling up also for some users.

The first thing you can do is control your mind and avoid the habit of checking your phone and scrolling through social media every five minutes.

Some users have said that the latest iPhones are breaking easily. During JerryRigEverything's durability test, the iPhone 15 Pro Max's back glass shattered with just his hands.
