The study took into account more than 7 million Canadian citizens between the years 1981 and 2016 along with the air pollution data in the same period of time. The aim was to find out whether the low air pollution levels caused less damage, but the death toll hinted at a different reality.

&nbsp;“These findings suggest important health benefits could be gained from continued reductions in air pollution and more stringent regulatory standards, including in countries such as Canada and the UK,” Prof Michael Brauer from the University of British Columbia, told The Guardian.

“Considering that we don’t identify a ‘safe’ level of air pollution, we should rethink our approach and focus on continued reductions year by year, rather than just setting fixed concentration standards that are only reviewed every five to 10 years. The health impacts are far too large,” he added.

The US Health Effects Institute, which funded the study, also commissioned two other researchers which looked into the air pollution in parts of Europe. Both of the studies also concluded that there are no permissible amounts of air pollution that is not harmful to the health of individuals.

According to a video posted online, the paintings were found by the senior services division at a beachside apartment in Ipanema. Among the ones found, the most valuable one was Sol Poente (Setting Sun) which is an old painting which was commissioned somewhere around 1929.

“Well, well, well – look what we have here!,” one female officer says in the video according to The Guardian. The other paintings found in the building were - Mascarada by Di Cavalcanti and two other Amaral paintings: Pont-Neuf and O Sono. All of them were valued at above $10 million.

The police said that the theft started sometime around January 2020 when the art collector’s daughter hired a number of people to cheat her mother and steal the air pieces. They were looking to sell the pieces to other art collectors over time.

The James Webb Space telescope has been grabbing headlines for the brilliant pictures that it has taken of the universe. The images, taken with the help of the infrared pictures on the telescope, has provided a brilliant set of data for scientists to decode a number of mysteries. However, its predecessor – Hubble Space Telescope – has come up with the latest picture to stun the experts.

NASA and ESA, the agencies which manage Hubble, released a picture of a star cluster which was named globular cluster NGC 6638. NASA said that it belonged to the constellation Sagittarius.

While Hubble does not possess the same quality of cameras as that on the James Webb telescope, the Wide Field Camera 3 and the Advanced Camera for Surveys were able to capture the image.

The cluster contained of millions of stars and although the image quality was quite advanced, it was not possible to understand individual bodies. Due to the proximity of Hubble to the cluster, the image did not get as distorted as the ones that are taken by telescopes from the earth’s surface.

The motive behind this initiative is to regain the top spot in the industry from China and to make the US less reliant on other countries — something that happened due to the damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Today America is delivering, delivering, and I honest to God believe that 50, 75, 100 years from now from people who will look back on this week, they'll know that we met this moment," Biden said.

This was one of Biden’s first appearances since recovering from two bouts of COVID-19 which forced him to stay in isolation for a considerable amount of time.
