<p>Dominic Purcell is clarifying some strongly-worded remarks regarding his supposed departure from DC's Legends of Tomorrow. According to the actor, he's not actually leaving the show and will return "periodically" in the future.</p>

<p>Purcell, 51, initially took to Instagram on Saturday to announce that he would be leaving his role as Mick Rory in a fiery and profanity-infused message, which has since been amended and then deleted.</p>

<p>Hours later, however, Purcell returned to clarify his remarks in an updated caption and stressed that he was not, in fact, leaving the show ahead of his contractual term of employment.</p>

<p>In the now-deleted Instagram post, Purcell claimed he had used heated rhetoric but just because it's his personality, and that his departure wouldn't be permanent.</p>

<p>"God would everyone chill the f**k out. Why are people losing their mind because I’m leaving the show. Yes my tone was heavy straight to the point…It’s who I am," he said in the post. “Do I have a beef with the studio at @warnerbrostv NO!”</p>

<p>He went on to explain that he would be leaving the show "on a full time basis," but would be returning in future seasons "periodically with a handshake deal with my boss Phil Klemmer."</p>

<p>"I haven’t quit. My contract is up. 6 years not 7. I’ve never quit on a contract and never would. So to all the fans you will see me again next year on season 7 periodically. I hope this has clarified stuff," he added.</p>

<p>In his original post, announcing his exit, which was also deleted, Purcell wrote, according to multiplereports, "Deal isn’t done. I have no interest. What ever cash they throw on the corporate level. I’m walking away from @cw_legendsoftomorrow. It’s been a total pleasure and a humbling experience bringing @dccomics iconic character #heatwave (aka) MICK RORY to life. I smashed this character— not an actor in the world could have done better. FACT... Time to move on and see how s**t unfolds."</p>

<p>He originally wrote, "The studio does not care" about him quitting, and invited his fellow actors to "hit me up on DM" to talk about unnamed people he deemed "fake c***s."</p>

<p>In his follow-up, also deleted clarification, Purcell wrote, "I have and always have had a tremendous relationship with the Bosses and the studio @warnerbrostv…My wording was aggressive in tone because sometimes I get frustrated and annoyed it’s been a long long heavy year locked up in #Vancouver for 9 months without going home. <p>DC's Legends of Tomorrow starts its sixth season on May 2, and has already been renewed for a seventh season. <p>According to Insider, the shows is&nbsp;missing that particular&nbsp;episode in season five of the National Geographic series. Programming skips from episode four, featuring actor Rob Riggle, to episode six, starring former WWE world champion Dave Bautista.</p>

<p>The episode, which aired in 2019, features the actor and Grylls going camping off the coast of Sardinia, an island in Italy. Together, they go underground cave diving and rock climbing. At one point in the episode, Grylls instructs Hammer to suckle milk directly from a goat the duo caught in the wild.</p>

<p>In January, private DMs that Hammer allegedly sent to several unidentified women were circulated online. The DMs spawned claims that the actor had a cannibalism fetish and wanted to drink a girlfriend's blood.<br />

Later, a&nbsp;Vanity Fair exposé from March revealed Hammer's BDSM "obsession" and detailed how raunchy text messages led to his divorce from his ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers.</p>

<p>"From day one, Mr. Hammer has maintained that all of his interactions with [Effie] - and every other sexual partner of his for that matter - have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory," Brettler said in a statement emailed to Insider in March.</p>

<p>A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed in a statement to Insider that the actor "is the main suspect in an alleged sexual assault investigation initiated on February 3 of this year."</p>

Lewis went on to speak on how McCrory always "spread happiness," writing, "even when dying in her last few days, when talking to our wonderful carers, she repeatedly said, `thank you so much in her half-delirious state."<br />

"I`ve never known anyone able to enjoy life as much. Her ability to be in the present and enjoy the moment was inspirational. Nor was she interested in navel-gazing. No real interest in self-reflection; she believed in looking out, not in. Which is why she was able to turn her light so brightly on others," Lewis added.<br />

Lewis&nbsp;married McCrory in 2007, after they met on the production of `Five Gold Rings` at London`s Almeida Theatre in 2003, and have two children&nbsp;14-year-old daughter Manon, and 13-year-old son Gulliver,<br />

<p>A new study explored the significant benefits of later school start times for middle and high school students` sleep schedules.<br />
<br />
The findings of the study were published in the journal `Sleep`. Sleep is essential to a student`s overall health, social development, and academic achievement, yet lack of sleep is common among children and adolescents. Biological changes to sleep cycles during puberty make falling asleep early difficult for adolescents. This, coupled with early school start times, means that students often end up with insufficient sleep.<br />
<br />
Approximately 28,000 elementary, middle, and high school students and parents completed surveys annually, before changes to school start times and for two years afterward. Participating elementary schools started 60 minutes earlier, middle, 40-60 minutes later, and high school started 70 minutes later.Student and parent surveys separately asked about students` typical bedtime and wake time on both weekdays and weekends. The surveys also asked respondents to report on students` quality of sleep and their experience of daytime sleepiness.<br />
<br />
Researchers found that the greatest improvements in these measures occurred for high school students, who obtained an extra 3.8 hours of sleep per week after the later start time was implemented.<br />
<br />
More than one in ten high school students reported improved sleep quality and one in five reported less daytime sleepiness. The average "weekend oversleep," or additional sleep on weekends, amongst high schoolers dropped from just over two hours to 1.2 hours, suggesting that with enough weekday sleep, students are no longer clinically sleep deprived and no longer feel compelled to "catch up" on weekends.<br />
<br />
Likewise, middle school students obtained 2.4 additional hours of sleep per week with a later school start time. Researchers saw a 12 per cent decrease in middle schoolers reporting daytime sleepiness. The percent of elementary school students reporting sufficient sleep duration, poor sleep quality, or daytime sleepiness did not change over the course of the study.<br />

The benefits of later start times were similar across racial and socioeconomic groups, but survey results indicated differences in weekday bedtimes. The authors encourage steps to be taken to "identify and ameliorate systemic factors that contribute to these differences," recommending education programs developed in partnership with families to ensure that guidance for adjusting bedtimes and increasing sleep opportunities are sensitive to sociocultural and environmental factors.<br />

Previous studies have not concurrently considered the impact of changing start times on sleep for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, a key factor in policy outcomes due to the need for school districts to stagger start times to accommodate transportation schedules.<br />
