<p>"That's something that has maybe stifled people really listening or leaning in or taking it seriously."</p>

<p>Raci, who plays an addiction counselor who lost his hearing late in life in "Sound of Metal," agreed that "people are afraid of the unknown, or they're threatened."</p>

<p>"Deafness is a hidden disability -- there's no sign in anybody that says 'I'm deaf'," he told AFP.</p>

<p>Another obstacle for actors with disabilities is physical access to film sets and locations, which are not always equipped for a wide range of people such as wheelchair users or the blind.</p>

<p>This month, A-listers including Amy Poehler and Naomie Harris signed an open letter to top movie studios urging them to hire permanent disability officers, who would help seek opportunities for disabled talent and ensure more inclusive hiring.</p>

<p>In a bid to change Hollywood's course, actor Nic Novicki in 2013 launched a film competition requiring at least one crew or cast member with a disability, which has now become the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge.</p>

<p>"When I started it... we were very underrepresented -- much more so than now," said Novicki, who has a form of dwarfism, and was tired of being offered typecast roles where disability was "the storyline."</p>

<p>The character, named Quilloughby and voiced by Hollywood star Benedict Cumberbatch, is a devoted vegan -- like Morrissey and Lisa -- who inspires her with his music and acidic social commentary.</p>

<p>But when Lisa attends a concert by Quilloughby's band The Snuffs in the present day, she is shocked and disappointed to see that instead of the imaginary dashing singer, he is an overweight, grumpy and anti-immigrant meat-eater.</p>

<p>Morrissey was less than impressed with the portrayal.</p>

<p>"The hatred shown towards me from the creators of The Simpsons is obviously a taunting lawsuit, but one that requires more funding than I could possibly muster in order to make a challenge," the rocker wrote Tuesday in a lengthy post on the Morrissey Central website.</p>

<p>"Writing for The Simpsons... evidently requires only complete ignorance."</p>

Plea mentions that the plaintiff apprehended that a distorted version of his son`s life will be presented to the public, without the consent of plaintiff, which would be defamatory in nature and would be deceptive to the public at large to make them believe that these ventures are backed by plaintiff or his family.<br />

Sushant Singh Rajput`s father Krishan Kishore Singh has approached Delhi High Court in light of the recent news articles and publications regarding movies and other ventures depicting his personal life, name/ images/caricature/lifestyle /likeness in form of biopic or story, plea states. Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri on Wednesday sought a response from respondents while slated the matter for getting on May 25th. Senior Advocate Vikas Singh appearing for SSRs father states that any such publication, production, or depiction of the private life of the late actor is a blatant and willful breach of the right to a fair trial guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, personality rights and the common law tort of passing off in misappropriating well-known personality without consent for commercial gains. The petition states that the plaintiff (SSR`s Father) and his deceased has the right of privacy or a right to be alone under Article 21 of the Constitution of India. They have the right to safeguard their privacy, their families` privacy and deceased persons in the family. None can publish anything whether truthful or otherwise or whether laudatory or critical about the life of Sushant Singh Rajput without the consent of Plaintiff. It is not possible to depict or portray the life of Sushant Singh Rajput without depicting or portraying the life of his family members including his near relatives and the Plaintiff.
