<p>Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Tuesday (August 22) announced that the release of wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear plant into the Pacific will start on Thursday (August 24), amid opposition from fishermen and China.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Japan continues to claim that it is safe to slowly release more than 500 Olympic swimming pools' worth of water. United Nations atomic agency has been supporting Japan's viewpoint.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We will request TEPCO to promptly prepare for the start of oceanic discharge based on the plan approved by the Nuclear Regulation Authority, with discharge expected to be August 24 if weather and sea conditions do not hinder it," said Kishida on Tuesday after a meeting of ministers in Tokyo, which referred to the plant's operator.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Around 18,000 people were killed due to a massive earthquake and tsunami&nbsp;in March 2011, with the&nbsp;Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear plant also being affected,&nbsp;turning the event into one of the worst-ever atomic disasters in the world.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The interior ministry of Austria on Monday (August 21) said that the redesigning of the birth house of Adolf Hitler will go ahead as planned after new claims about the wishes of the late Nazi dictator regarding the house&nbsp;were aired in a documentary.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After years of legal wrangling, the government took the decision to convert the house into a police station with a human rights training centre. The house, where Hitler was born in 1889, is located in the northern Austrian town of Braunau. &nbsp;</p>

<p>UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, who has been sent to the International Space Station on a six-month space mission, shared a fascinating video on X (previously known as Twitter) which demonstrated how he ate honey and bread for a quick snack.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the viral video, Neyadi is showing how honey changes in space which has left many science lovers mesmerised. From a bottle of Emirati honey, he first squeezes&nbsp;a huge dollop of honey on a piece of bread. The honey is seen forming a ball after attaching itself to the slice of bread.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The scientist then leaves his snack floating in zero gravity and slowly gets hold of the floating bread and jiggles the honey on it. He then holds the bread and enjoys his honey sandwich.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the video, he also speaks about the benefits of eating honey and adds that it is good for the health of astronauts.</p>

UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, who has been sent to the International Space Station on a six-month space mission, shared a fascinating video on X (previously known as Twitter) which demonstrated how he ate honey and bread for a quick snack. In the viral video, Neyadi is showing how honey changes in space which has left many science lovers mesmerised. From a bottle of Emirati honey, he first squeezes a huge dollop of honey on a piece of bread. The honey is seen forming a ball after attaching itself to the slice of bread. The scientist then leaves his snack floating in zero gravity and slowly gets hold of the floating bread and jiggles the honey on it. He then holds the bread and enjoys his honey sandwich. In the video, he also speaks about the benefits of eating honey and adds that it is good for the health of astronauts. Have you ever wondered how honey forms in space? 🍯 I still have some Emirati honey left that I enjoy from time to time. 9 Everyday Obstacles Which Slow Down Your WiFi

Is your internet slow? Before making that angry call to the internet service provider, check if some of these things in your home are causing the WiFi to slow down.

Concrete interferes with the service of your network. People living on property with concrete walls may experience a lag in signals.

Metal, which is a similarly dense material, can affect internet speed. However, if you cannot avoid metal in your home, try placing the router as far away from it as possible. You can also opt for a WiFi extender.

Plaster and drywall are other types of building materials which contribute to the poor strength of WiFi.

Ceramic tiles which are common in every house also disrupt the WiFi. This is because it is often coupled with other materials which can slow down the internet speed.

A certain type of window, called Low-E (low-emissivity) windows, is likely to cause slower internet connection. This type of window contains metallic film which helps in reducing energy consumption.

Mirrors also have a thin coating of metal behind their glass which is likely to disturb internet connection. When two elements combine, it leads to a certain amount of electromagnetic interference.

Water comes as the most surprising addition to the list. Human bodies and fish tanks can lead to weak WiFi signals because they are bound to hinder the passage of signals through water.

Homes containing stocky furniture are less likely to have a stable internet connection. The more furniture is present in the house, the more the signal experiences disruption.

White goods can also cause disruption in WiFi signals considering that dishwashers and microwaves emit their own radio waves. However, if you place a router far from everyday items, you are less likely to face a weak WiFi connection.
