<p>One of the latest images posted by NASA has again drawn everyone's attention to these stellar factories.&nbsp;</p>

<p>NASA has posted image of Serpens (the serpent) on its Instagram page and it's sight to behold. NASA's Chandra X-Ray observatory has captured an image that shows thousands of spots of light, each representing an illuminated celestial body. In the middle of it all is 'the Serpent'.</p>

<p>The structure gets the name because its middle resembles coils of a snake and on closer observation, we can even see 'head' and 'tail' of the snake.</p>

<p>What's more, we can also see stars that are actually forming inside the Serpens!.</p>

<p>The review from Biden administration has come after two Chinese successfully challenged the order in court, and Biden said it was needed to be sure it was legally watertight and sustainable.</p>

<p>While the Biden administration has pledged to take a more diplomatic line with China following the upheaval of his predecessor, he has said he will keep to a strict line on several issues including defence and technology.</p>

Yemen: UN envoy calls for reopening of ports, ceasefire

<p>As Bangladesh reported 1,710 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the country`s cumulative count of infections has surpassed 800,000 mark on Monday.As many as 36 more people died in the last 24 hours, taking the number of total deaths to 12,619, according to the country`s Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the number of all coronavirus cases jumped to 800,540.Dhaka Tribune reported that it took 47 days for Bangladesh to cross the latest mark from 700,000 cases registered on April 14.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed concerns over the surge in infections during a cabinet meeting on Monday.</p>

<p>"Coronavirus transmission has intensified in the border districts which is a matter of concern for us. The prime minister has instructed the (authorities concerned) to put the districts under tougher lockdown at the earliest," Health Minister Zahid Maleque said on Monday, Bangla Tribune reported.On Sunday, Bangladesh had announced an extension of the ongoing lockdown until June 6 in order to control the spread of COVID-19.</p>

<p>A Cabinet Division official said that the restrictions have been extended till June 6 midnight. State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said that the restriction will continue until the daily infection rate drops to 5 per cent.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He further stated that the move came on the advice of the National Technical Advisory Committee on COVID-19.</p>

<p>"It will continue until the daily infection rate drops to 5 per cent. But that too will depend on observations," Dhaka Tribune quoted Hossain as saying.The Bangladesh government has decided to extend the ongoing ban on public travel through land ports to India till June 14 in view of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.</p>

<p>Asked about new Russian military formations and units, intended to be deployed close to the alliance's borders, Stoltenberg said NATO would continue to seek dialogue with Moscow, while also exercising troops for defensive purposes.</p>

<p>"It is important to manage difficult relationship with Russia with transparency on military activities, risk reduction and also for instance related issues like arms control," Stoltenberg told reporters.</p>

<p>Russia's ties with the West are currently accutely strained over jailing of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, a military buildup near Ukraine and allegations of election hacking.</p>

<p>India also revised its annual GDP estimates for the fiscal year, predicting a 7.3% contraction, less than its earlier estimate of -8.0%.</p>

<p>A slow vaccination drive and local restrictions after a massive second wave of infections and deaths across the country have hit economic activities like retail, transport and construction while putting millions out of work.</p>

<p>India has recorded 28 million COVID-19 infections, behind only the United States, and 329,100 deaths as of Monday, although the rise has begun to slow.</p>

<p>Economists said the economy, which was facing a slowdown even before the pandemic, may now see a collapse in consumer demand, which accounts for more than 55% of the economy, as household incomes and jobs have declined.</p>

<p>Garima Kapoor, economist at Institutional Equities, Elara Capital Mumbai, said the March GDP numbers reflected the impact of the unlocking of the economy before the second wave hit.</p>

<p>"The rebound in consumer spending would hence be more gradual than the first wave, with vaccination being the key driver."</p>

<p>The central bank, which has kept monetary policy loose while boosting liquidity to the economy, said last week the prospects will depend on how fast India can arrest infections.</p>
