<p>His remarks came during an address to an international economic forum in the Georgian capital Tbilisi. The Armenian government on September 28 said that over 65,000 Armenians fled the conflict-ridden zone after the takeover of Nagorno-Karabakh by Baku.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, France has vowed to back Armenia as concerns continue over fresh tensions with Baku.&nbsp;A report by Politico quoting the French government said that the country is sending ammunition, including air defence systems to Armenia.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Even if we are not part of the same military and political alliances, we assume this defence relationship, which is based on the simple principle that you need to be able to defend yourself and your civilian population," French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu told his Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan at a press conference.</p>

<p>The leader of India's regional party in the state of Punjab&nbsp;has appealed for stopping the auction of a Golden Temple model which was given as a gift to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.&nbsp;Golden Temple located in the heart of Punjab's Amritsar is a spiritual place for Sikhs and is one of the holiest sites for them to visit.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Senior Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Badal raised his objections saying that auctioning the model would be "grossly disrespectful" and would hurt the "religious sentiments of the Sikh community".</p>

<p>The Golden Temple model is a part of the fifth e-auction of gifts received by PM Modi. The auction, which began earlier this month, includes various items such as replicas of the Sun Temple in Gujarat's Modhera, the Vijay Stambh of Chittorgarh, and a painting depicting a ghat in Varanasi.</p>

<p>Sukhbir Badal said, "This model was presented as a sacred symbol of the gift and blessings of the Akal Purakh and the Guru Sahibs... My humble request to the Prime Minister to stop this auction immediately."</p>

Russia sends fighter jets as two US bombers, drone approach its border

<p>As the humanitarian toll of the crisis in the Israel-Hamas war continues to mount, Australia is also concerned for its citizens in the region and is ramping up efforts to ensure their safety and security.&nbsp;The country said Wednesday (Oct 25) that it is dispatching 'significant' military troops and two military transport jets to the Middle East, reported AFP news agency.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Defence Minister Richard Marles reportedly said that the move was being taken in order to provide assistance to Australian citizens in the Middle East region "if this gets worse." However, the official refrained from giving an exact number of troops that will be sent to the war-hit region.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per reports, two C-130J Super Hercules aircraft had been deployed. The base location for these jets and troops also has been kept undisclosed by Marles, who is also deputy prime minister.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Other military aircraft, a C-17A Globemaster heavy transport aircraft, and a KC-30 air refueller have already been dispatched to the area.</p>

<h2><strong>Australians in Gaza, West Bank</strong></h2>

<p>The deadly strike from Gaza's Hamas on October 7 led to a bloody onslaught on Israeli citizens and it in turn triggered Israeli air strikes on the terrorist group.&nbsp;The Hamas-run Health Ministry said at least 5,791 Palestinians have been killed and 16,297 are injured.</p>

<p>While expressing its deep concerns over the Israel-Hamas war, India at the UN Security Council meeting on Wednesday (Oct 25) vowed its continued support for the people of Palestine. This came as the UNSC held its first open debate on the Israel-Hamas war, a meeting where a majority of the members urged for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid for Palestinians.</p>

<p>Until now, the 15-member council has failed to deliver a resolution amid air raids and relentless violence which has raised concerns of a further escalation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>India’s Deputy Permanent Representative (DPR) to the United Nations, Ambassador R. Ravindra said that India is "deeply concerned about the deteriorating security situation and large-scale loss of civilian lives in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war."</p>

<p>Their goal is to compare this virtual universe with the known reality, incorporating fresh data collected by high-powered telescopes. This comparison is essential because the observational data sometimes deviates from the expected outcomes, which could provide insights into the accuracy of the prevailing theory of the universe's evolution, known as the Standard Model of Cosmology.</p>

<p>Named the Flamingo Project, this endeavour involves complex calculations that model the evolution of all the universe's components, which includes ordinary matter, dark matter, and dark energy, following the fundamental laws of physics.</p>
