"Despite the lack of significant efforts, the government took some steps to address trafficking, including by prosecuting and convicting some traffickers and by continuing to cooperate with international authorities to address forced and fraudulent marriages in the PRC, a key trafficking vulnerability for foreign women and girls," the report said.

The report claims that despite these efforts, what is more troublesome is the forced labour that has been undergoing, especially with the help of the mass detention camps where reportedly millions of&nbsp;Uyghurs, ethnic Kazakhs, ethnic Kyrgyz and other Muslims have been detained in Xinjiang.

The report has urged China to put an end to the forced labour.&nbsp;"Cease the use of harassment, threats and illegal discriminatory immigration policies as measures to coerce the return to Xinjiang and subsequent forced labor of ethnic and religious minorities living abroad," it stated.

The TIP report is divided into Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-2 watchlist, and Tier-3. Countries whose governments fully meet the TVPA`s (Trafficking Victims Protection Act) minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking are categorised as Tier-1.

Countries categorised under Tier-3 get access to only limited resources from the US.

Robert Trump requested the court to halt the production of the book stating that all of the Trump family had signed a settlement decades ago that prohibits her from writing the book, under a confidentiality clause that explicitly states that nobody from Trump family will "publish any account concerning the litigation or their relationship,"&nbsp;unless they all agreed.

The agreement related to the will of Donald Trump's father, New York real estate developer Fred Trump.

"We hope this decision will end the matter. Democracy thrives on the free exchange of ideas, and neither this court nor any other has authority to violate the Constitution by imposing a prior restraint on core political speech," said&nbsp;Mary Trump's attorney, Ted Boutrous Jr.

"We look forward to publishing Mary L. Trump's , and are confident we will prevail should there be further efforts to stifle this publication," said&nbsp;Adam Rothberg, spokesperson for Mary's publisher&nbsp;Simon &amp; Schuster.

The White House has not issued a comment on this yet.

Total number of positive cases in Delhi stands at 73,780, including 44,765 recovered/discharged cases and 2,429 deaths.

Mumbai, which is one of the worst affected cities in the country,&nbsp;reported 1,365 fresh cases and 58 deaths today, taking total number of cases to 70,990 and death toll to 4,060, as reported by the Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

Pune, another city in Maharashtra, recorded 725 positive cases and 16 deaths in the last 24 hours. Pune's toll now stands at 18,240 and the death toll is at 655, said Dr Bhagawan Pawar, District Health Officer.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday notified its assessment scheme for the pending class 10 and 12 examinations, which have been cancelled in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As per the scheme, results of class 10 and 12 students, who have completed all their exams, will be declared based on their performances in the exams.

"For students who have appeared in the examinations in only three subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best two performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted," he added.

Taking note of cancellation of a few exams in northeast Delhi in view of the communal violence in the area during the anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act protests in February, the board has decided to take into account internal exams to assess performances.

"There are very few students of class 12, mainly from Delhi, who have appeared in the examinations in only one or two subjects. Their results will be declared based on performances in the appeared subjects and performance in internal, practical or project assessment," Bhardwaj said.

The board will conduct exams for class 12 at a later stage when the situation is conducive and students who are unhappy with their score will have an option to appear for them.

However, the students who opt to sit for those exams, their performances in the exams will be treated as the final score.

Class 10 students will not get a chance to appear for improvement exams and their score as declared by the board will be treated final.

The four-point assessment scheme has been devised following cancellation of the pending exams, which were scheduled from July 1 to 15.

"Results based upon the assessment scheme will be declared by July 15 so candidates can apply and seek admissions in higher educational institutions in India or abroad," Bhardwaj said.

US President has been on a verbal war with China for the last few months. That verbal war has affected the diplomatic, trade and monetary ties between the two countries.

To make up for the loss of income, US President Donald Trump, on Wednesday, signed a memorandum&nbsp;directing the Department of Agriculture to provide US lobster fishermen with financial assistance. The announcement was made by the&nbsp;White House trade adviser Peter Navarro.

Trump has asked the agency to provide subsidies to the lobster industry, just like the ones that have been extended to the&nbsp;soybean and other agricultural growers.

Navarro said Trump is also directing U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer to report by July 15 on whether China is beginning to comply with $150 million in lobster purchase commitments under the phase one agreement signed by the president earlier this year.

If the report is not positive, Trump has further advised his administration to place&nbsp;retaliatory tariffs on the Chinese seafood industry.

The decision comes after the issue was raised in a round-table conference stating that China has failed to meet the expected purchase limit, as stated under the US-China trade deal.

India recorded yet another highest daily spike of positive coronavirus cases, as the cases increased by 16,922.

The toll stands at&nbsp;4,73,105 including 1,86,514 active cases, 2,71,697 cured/discharged/migrated and 14,894 deaths

Maharashtra, which is the worst-affected state of the country, recorded&nbsp;208 deaths and 3,890 new cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of positive cases in the state is now 1,42,900, and deaths 6,739.

The state health department also reported that&nbsp;4,161 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours; 73,792&nbsp;patients have been discharged after full recovery until today. The recovery rate in the state is 51.64%.

Mumbai, Maharashtra's epicentre, reported&nbsp;1,144 new positive cases and 38 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of positive cases now stands at 69,625 including 37,010 recovered/discharged cases, 28,653 active cases and 3,962 deaths, as reported by&nbsp;Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

The national capital, New Delhi, crossed the&nbsp;70,000-mark 3,788 new cases in the last 24 hours. Death toll is now at 2,365. Out of the total, 26,588 are active cases and 41,437 people have recovered.

Tamil Nadu, which has seen a rapid increase in number of cases and is under a complete lockdown right now, is also nearing the 70,000 mark. The Southern state recorded&nbsp;33 deaths and 2,865 new cases,&nbsp;taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 67,468 and&nbsp;death toll to 866.

Rajasthan reported 10 deaths and 382 new positive cases today. The total number of positive cases in the state now stands at 16,009 including 3,023 active cases and 375 deaths.

Haryana saw an increase by 490 cases, taking the total number of positive cases to 12,010. A total of 6,925 people have been recovered/discharged till date. The total death toll rises to 188.
