The team argues that the event could've triggered several different kinds of dark matter, including "darkzillas" —a reference "Godzilla"— which are monstrously sized particles 10 trillion times the mass of a single proton.

The scientists say that the current gravitational wave experiments do not have the capacity to find signatures of the Dark Big Bang, expressing hope that another probe of gravitational waves using distances to far-flung pulsars, known as Pulsar Timing Arrays like the NANOGrav experiment, might just be able to do the trick.

Experts say that global warming is speeding up the glacier ice melt in the polar regions which is host to primordial viruses that have been lying dormant for thousands of years.

In the last five decades, the Arctic region has been heating up to four times faster than the rest of the world, causing permafrost temperatures to rise by roughly minus 17 degrees Celsius per decade.

Experts have warned that these viruses could trigger the release of extinct diseases such as smallpox or pathogens that once wreaked havoc among our ancestors.

"There is a Factor X that we really don't know very much about," Sweden’s Umeå University infectious disease specialist Birgitta Evengård&nbsp;told Newsweek.

“Deep down in the permafrost, there must be microbes – especially viruses but also bacteria – that were on Earth long before Homo sapiens existed.”

"There is a lot we don't know, and what very few people have looked into is the permafrost," Evengård added.

The concerns about ancient virus resurfacing were first raised when a group of French and Russian researchers reactivated a giant virus in 2014 that had laid dormant under the Siberian permafrost for 30,000 years

US European Command in a statement said that the accident took place during a routine air refuelling mission as part of military training.

It said that the rescue efforts began immediately after the crash, but none of those on board the plane survived.

A Jewish school in Canada’s Montreal was hit by another gunfire for the second time this week, with police now increasing security in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war.

CBC News reported that gunshots were heard near Yeshiva Gedola of Montreal,&nbsp;located on Deacon Road in the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood, around 5 am Sunday (Nov 12).

The police officers, who were called in, found bullet marks on the building and shell casings on the ground nearby. However, no one was injured.

Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) spokesperson Véronique Dubuc told CBC News that witnesses spotted a vehicle fleeing the scene at the time of the gunfire.&nbsp;

It could not be confirmed whether there was anyone in the building during the incident.

The armed person is yet to be identified, and no arrests have been made.

<h2>Mayor denounces shooting&nbsp;</h2>

Denouncing the shooting, Mayer Feig, a member of the Council of Hasidic Jews of Quebec, said that the act was meant to intimidate the Jewish population in the city.

"They want to put fear into the community," Feig said.&nbsp;

"These things have to stop. This has&nbsp;no place here in Quebec, in Canada or Montreal, it's not who we are. There's a conflict going on thousands of miles away, don't bring it here," he was quoted as saying.

Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante called the shooting “despicable”.

"We will not allow Montreal to be the scene of such acts," she wrote on X.

"We must fight antisemitism. All Montrealers have the right to feel safe."&nbsp;

Yeshiva Gedola was one of the two Jewish schools targeted by gunmen on Wednesday overnight.

Both Yeshiva Gedola&nbsp;and Talmud Torah Elementary School, another Jewish school in Côte-des-Neiges, were struck by gunfire overnight Wednesday.&nbsp;

Police said both Yeshiva Gedola and Talmud Torah Elementary School were empty at the time of the shooting and nobody was injured.

<h2>Rise in hate crimes against Jewish and Arab-Muslim communities&nbsp;</h2>

According to Radio-Canada, school officials from Yeshiva Gedola are&nbsp;expected to hold a news conference later&nbsp;Sunday morning in connection with this week's events.

Ever since the Israel-Hamas war broke out on October 7, officials in Montreal have witnessed a rise in tensions among the Jewish and Arab-Muslim communities living in the area.

“There is a ban on the production, storage and sale of firecrackers in Delhi. The firecrackers were brought to Delhi from UP and Haryana. The police of Delhi, Haryana and UP are under the control of BJP and no common man can easily supply the firecrackers amid the monitoring of these three police forces. Some specific people have done this,"&nbsp;Rai said.

The environment minister also announced that the anti-pollution measures under GRAP IV regulations will remain enforced in Delhi until the next order of CAQM (Commission for Air Quality Management).

"Under this, the ban on BS-III petrol vehicles and BS-IV diesel vehicles will remain. All trucks, except those carrying essential goods and connected to essential services and CNG and electric trucks, will not be allowed to enter Delhi," he announced.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sharply hit back at the AAP government&nbsp;and accused&nbsp;the minister of doing ‘polarisation politics’ by pinning the blame on Diwali celebrations.

Under the UK constitution, a minister does not have to be a member of either House of Parliament, but in recent years, such ministers have been appointed to the House of Lords in order for them to be accountable to the parliament.
