Days after liberating thousands of acres of the occupied region from the Russian troops, the Ukrainian authorities on Friday began the process of examining the mass burial site, discovered a day earlier in the east Ukrainian town of Izyum. The officials stated that 99 per cent of the exhumed bodies found at the burial site had signs of violent death, meaning the Russian troops tortured and mutilated them when killing. "Among the bodies that were exhumed today, 99 percent showed signs of violent death. There are several bodies with their hands tied behind their backs, and one person is buried with a rope around his neck." said Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv regional administration. Synegubov further stated that these people were obviously tortured and executed by the Russian barbarians. The Russian troops simply marked a number while burying the dead, leaving no trail for the Ukrainian authorities to identify the victims. According to locals, those exhumed were most likely killed by the Russian forces who occupied the city for the last six months and used it as the base for launching military operations in the Donbas region. The Russian troops attacked Izyum in April and according to witnesses, over 100 were killed in the first assault as Russian bombs were hurled. The emergency service workers wearing blue plastic may have also stumbled upon the graves of little children, who, according to the locals were one of the earliest casualties in the attack. As reported by WION, after the burial site was discovered by Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky in an address informed that the process of verification will begin the next day. "In Izyum, Kharkiv region, a mass burial of people was found. The necessary procedural actions have already started there, more information, clear and verified, should be available tomorrow," said Zelensky in the address. The report further mentioned that the couple was apparently baffled after hearing about the decision as royal officials insisted that they do not attend the event.

"He (Putin) is only further isolating himself from the international community. We don't believe that now's the time to be doing any business as usual with Russia with respect to what they're doing in Ukraine,” the White House official&nbsp;added.

Furthermore, US secretary of state Antony Blinken stated that what India and China communicated to Russia reflected the concerns of the world.&nbsp;

“What you're hearing from China, from India, is reflective of concerns around the world about the effects of Russia's aggression on Ukraine,” said Blinken.

As reported by WION,&nbsp;on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) 2022 at Samarkand in Uzbekistan on Friday, PM Modi held a bilateral talk with the Russian President.&nbsp;

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has agreed to restore the former name of the country's capital just three years after he renamed it in honour of his predecessor, his spokesperson said Tuesday.

One of Tokayev's first moves upon taking office in 2019 after President Nursultan Nazarbayev stepped down was to call for Kazakhstan's capital, Astana, to be dubbed Nur-Sultan instead.

Nazarbayev, who led the country for three decades under the Soviet Union and after it gained independence in 1991, relocated the capital from Almaty to Astana in 1997.

The move was widely questioned because of the city's relative isolation in the northern steppes and notoriously frigid winters in which temperatures plunge as low as 51 degrees Celsius below zero (minus-60 F).

He made the city into a showplace of gaudy architecture, including an observation tower where visitors can place their hands in a print of Nazarbayev's.

After he stepped down, Nazarbayev retained enormous influence as head of the country's ruling party and security council. But Tokayev removed him from those posts after deadly unrest in January that hinged partly on dissatisfaction with the power that Nazarbayev still wielded.

Tokayev's spokesman, Ruslan Zheliban, said the president agreed to the name change after an initiative by a group of parliament members.

One of Tokayev's first moves upon taking office in 2019 after President Nursultan Nazarbayev stepped down was to call for Kazakhstan's capital, Astana, to be dubbed Nur-Sultan instead. Nazarbayev, who led the country for three decades under the Soviet Union and after it gained independence in 1991, relocated the capital from Almaty to Astana in 1997. The move was widely questioned because of the city's relative isolation in the northern steppes and notoriously frigid winters in which temperatures plunge as low as 51 degrees Celsius below zero (minus-60 F). He made the city into a showplace of gaudy architecture, including an observation tower where visitors can place their hands in a print of Nazarbayev's. After he stepped down, Nazarbayev retained enormous influence as head of the country's ruling party and security council. But Tokayev removed him from those posts after deadly unrest in January that hinged partly on dissatisfaction with the power that Nazarbayev still wielded. After Russia&nbsp;pulled back from the Kharkiv region of Ukraine on Saturday, Kyiv&nbsp;has been advancing in its pursuit to rid the country of Moscow's troops. Now,&nbsp;President Volodymyr Zelensky is claiming that his forces have captured as much as 6,000 square kilometres of territory from Russia, since the beginning of the month.

“Since the start of September, our soldiers have already liberated 6,000 square kilometres of Ukrainian territory in the east and south, and we are moving further,” said Zelensky in his briefing.&nbsp;

Additionally, several reports have claimed that Ukrainian troops are banging on the Russian border, having liberated one village after another near the areas.&nbsp;

"In some areas of the front, our defenders reached the state border with the Russian Federation."&nbsp;Oleh Syniehubov,&nbsp;the regional governor of the north-eastern Kharkiv region was quoted as saying.

Uber classified its drivers as self-employed which allowed the company to withhold the required benefits. Consequently, the drivers lost the right to overtime pay, paid sick leave, family leave, overtime pay, and most importantly minimum wage. Remarking that the state will not tolerate such companies, New Jersey's acting attorney general, Matt Platkin said, "We will not tolerate companies that misclassify their workers, thereby denying employees vital benefits and dodging their obligation to contribute to programs that benefit the workforce."
