"Some people used to tell me 'Why boxing, what are you going to benefit from it, go and learn something girly'," Farah said.

"I benefit a lot from boxing and today my ambition is to represent my Palestinian people and take part in world championships."

Kosar Khoshnoudikia, part of the Iranian archery team was shot last year while attending a rally in her hometown of&nbsp;Kermanshah, located over 500 kilometres away from the capital city of Tehran.&nbsp;

Khoshnoudikia was attending the rally with her father when the authorities sprayed the shots.&nbsp;

"Three shots hit my right hand and one shot hit my left eye," said&nbsp;Khoshnoudikia before adding that her father was also shot in the hand.

"I am never sad about what happened. I lost some things, but I gained a lot."

The speedster recalled the instance&nbsp;when Raja, rather petulantly, issued threats to the BCCI for not agreeing to send the Indian team to Pakistan for the Asia&nbsp;Cup.&nbsp;

On March 8, 2018, Jahan lodged a complaint against her husband and his elder brother Hasib Ahmad, levelling allegations of threat, infidelity and dowry demand. At the time, Jahan's counsel argued that Shami pay a monthly alimony of $12,300 (Rs 10 lakh) which will be divided into two parts - personal alimony ($ 8,600) and child allowance ($3,700). Jahan added that she had spent a lot of money fighting legal battles over the years and thus she deserved the money to lead a 'quality' life. "Since I don’t have any financial support or earning, I only know how I arranged the money for so long. Thus, I deserve much more alimony for spending a quality life.” Her counsel argued that since Shami's annual income stood at $850,000 (Rs 7 crore) for the financial year 2020-21, according to income tax returns, the demand for $12,300 (Rs 10 lakh) as alimony was not unjustified. Though a final decision is yet to be made, World Athletics has indicated that rules will be tightened but a full ban will not be implemented. According to documents assessed by British media, World Athletics has told the members that its 'preferred option' will be to allow transgender women and athletes with differences in sex development (DSD) to continue competing as they have been up until now. “This preferred option would allow significant (although not full) reduction of anaerobic, aerobic performances and body composition changes, while still providing a path for eligibility of trans women and 46 XY DSD individuals to compete in the female category.” The body added, "Putting forward a preferred option is the best way to gather constructive feedback, but this does not mean this is the option that will be presented to Council or indeed adopted."
