One of the most important pillars of achieving Vision 2030 is to enhance participation in sports activities, and to achieve sports excellence locally, continentally, and internationally," she was quoted as saying by Arab News.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Al-Marwaai added that the committee will aim to discover yoga talent in the country and hone their skills with the hope that they "represent the Kingdom in local and international tournaments".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Advertising is the main source of income for the microblogging platform. However, Twitter has seen advertisers flee amid worries about Musk's approach to content moderation rules.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Days after taking charge of the company, Musk informed that the company had seen a "massive" drop in revenue and blamed activist groups for pressuring advertisers.</p>

<p>"Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists. <p>US President Joe Biden on Wednesday nominated Julie Su to lead the US labour department. If confirmed, she will become the first Asian American to serve in the cabinet at the secretary level in the Biden administration.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Announcing the nomination, Biden called Su 'the American dream', adding that she could help the Americans as the head of the labour department.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Julie is the American dream. I think even more importantly, she’s committed to making sure that dream is within reach of every American,</p>

<p>“Julie is a tested and experienced leader, who will continue to build a stronger, more resilient, and more inclusive economy that provides Americans a fair return for their work and an equal chance to get ahead,”.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Su is a civil rights lawyer and has previously led California's labour department. She was the focal point of negotiations when labour and freight rail companies were embroiled in a logjam last year, which could have resulted in crippling strikes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Biden reflected on the same and said, "She helped avert a national rail shutdown, improved access to good jobs free from discrimination through my Good Jobs Initiative, and is ensuring that the jobs we create in critical sectors like semiconductor manufacturing, broadband and healthcare are good-paying, stable and accessible jobs for all.”</p>

<p>Talking about her nomination, Su recalled her mother who came to America as an immigrant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Sixty years ago, my mom came to the United States on a cargo ship because she couldn’t afford a passenger ticket," said Su. “Recently, she got a call from the president of the United States telling her that her daughter was going to be nominated to be US labour secretary.”</p>

<p>52-year-old Su is currently employed as the deputy labour secretary. Though many experts believe that she was set to take the keys of the department after Biden won the White House, it was Marty Walsh who was given the responsibility.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Supreme Court of India on Thursday constituted an expert-level committee headed by&nbsp;Justice AM Sapre, a retired judge of the apex court to look into&nbsp;the allegations made in the Hindenburg report&nbsp;against the Adani group. The court also directed market regulator&nbsp;Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to conclude the investigation in two months and submit a status report.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A bench comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice PS Narasimha, and Justice JB Pardiwala made the decision. It directed SEBI to investigate whether the Adani group failed to disclose transactions with related parties to the regulator and if the conglomerate manipulated its stock prices.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The above directions shall not be construed to limit the contours of the ongoing investigation. SEBI shall expeditiously conclude its investigation within two months and file a status report," the court told SEBI.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the expert committee comprises the likes of OP Bhat (former Chairman of SBI), retired Justice JP Devdat, KV Kamath, Nandan Nilakeni and Mr Somasekharan Sundaresan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After the court's order, Gautam Adani released a statement saying his company respected the decision.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The Adani Group welcomes the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. It will bring finality in a time bound manner. Truth will prevail," he tweeted.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After the Hindenburg report came out, Adani and its affiliate companies have lost more than $120 billion in market value so far.</p>

<p>The Hindenburg report accused the Adani group of stock manipulation using tax havens whilst having unsustainable debt.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Since then, Gautam Adani's conglomerate has tapered its revenue growth to 15 per cent to 20 per cent for the next financial year, down from the previous target of 40 per cent.&nbsp;</p>

Incumbent Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio who has been in office for three terms may have an uphill task to retain his position as BJP becomes the single largest party.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, according to early trends, he was also leading from his Northern Angami-II seat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“We are hoping to win by record margin, including from my seat and form the next government,” Rio had said ahead of the result announcement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nearly a month after deadly earthquakes struck Turkey, rescue operations are still underway. On Wednesday, a dog named 'Alex' was rescued from under the rubble after 23 days in Hatay’s Antakya district. The municipality teams were going about their business when they heard the dog's whimper coming from the debris of the buildings flattened.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The rescue workers quickly jumped on the scene and managed to find the dog. However, it took almost 1.5 hours to retrieve Alex, who was trapped deep inside the debris.&nbsp;The little husky looked happy and even wagged his tail a little when rescued by the workers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The crew provided Alex&nbsp;with nourishment and water before handing him to members of the Animal Rights Federation (HAYTAP).&nbsp;A video after the rescue operation showed Alex receiving a lot of head scratches and pets&nbsp;from the people nearby.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The group later ferried the dog, not in the best shape, as he lost a lot of weight&nbsp;to Antakya for treatment and recuperation.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This is not the first instance when a miracle rescue has been reported from quake-hit areas. Last month, a man was pulled from deep under the debris, nearly 278 hours or 12 days after being trapped under it.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The man, identified as Hakan Yasinoglu was also found in Hatay, a province located near the Syrian border and one of the regions most affected by the earthquake.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Yasinoglu was carried out on a stretcher with an IV drip attached to him, covered in a golden thermal jacket. According to rescue workers, it was a miracle that Yasinoglu&nbsp;survived as the temperature plummets near zero degree celsius at night - making it almost impossible to survive without minimal heat.&nbsp;</p>

The rescue workers quickly jumped on the scene and managed to find the dog. However, it took almost 1.5 hours to retrieve Alex, who was trapped deep inside the debris. The little husky looked happy and even wagged his tail a little when rescued by the workers. The crew provided Alex with nourishment and water before handing him to members of the Animal Rights Federation (HAYTAP). This is not the first instance when a miracle rescue has been reported from quake-hit areas. Last month, a man was pulled from deep under the debris, nearly 278 hours or 12 days after being trapped under it. The man, identified as Hakan Yasinoglu was also found in Hatay, a province located near the Syrian border and one of the regions most affected by the earthquake. Yasinoglu was carried out on a stretcher with an IV drip attached to him, covered in a golden thermal jacket. According to rescue workers, it was a miracle that Yasinoglu survived as the temperature plummets near zero degree celsius at night - making it almost impossible to survive without minimal heat. <p>Newly crowned Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrived in New Delhi on Thursday and held bilateral talks with her Indian counterpart Prime Minister Narendra Modi.&nbsp;Meloni said India's G20 presidency could play a central role in the de-escalation of hostilities, referring to the Russia-Ukraine war.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We hope that India having a G20 presidency can play a central role in facilitating a negotiating process for the cessation of hostilities (in Ukraine). Keeping the multilateral community together is important and we hope the Indian presidency can do it even more," said Meloni in a joint presser.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"PM Modi knows he can rely on us, on our cooperation for the G20 summit, to further enhance our relationship. I believe there is a lot we can do together."</p>

<p>The Italian PM also heaped praise on PM Modi and called him one of the 'most loved'&nbsp;leaders going around.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The approval rating that PM Modi has reached shows he is one of the most famous world leaders. PM Modi is the most loved one of all (leaders) around the world. This has&nbsp;really proven that he has been a major leader and congratulations for that," she added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>PM Modi reflected on Meloni's statement and said,&nbsp;"India has made it clear from the beginning that the Ukraine dispute can be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy."</p>

<p>He also announced the start of a major defence technology exchange between the two countries.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Today, we're announcing the establishment of a 'Start Up Bridge' between India and Italy. We welcome this. There is one more sector wherein both the countries are beginning a new chapter, that is - defence cooperation."</p>

<p>The two countries are&nbsp;celebrating 75 years of establishment of diplomatic relations this year.</p>

<p>The direct repercussion of high inflation rate will be seen in the monetary policy committee (MPC) meeting, scheduled to take place on Thursday. The committee, for all practical purposes, will be hiking interest rates, according to the experts.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Since data-keeping began in July 1965, this is the first time inflation has crossed the threshold of 31.5 per cent in Pakistan. In April 1975, the inflation rate came close to February's figures but stood still at 29 per cent.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The south Asian country has now become the 17th most expensive country in the world and is hurriedly moving towards hyperinflation. Meaning, the value of the Pakistan Rupee has declined to such an extent that ordinary people and their purchasing power have plummeted.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Food and gas prices have touched new highs in recent months as Pakistan's import-based economy cannot handle the devaluation of its local currency. Additionally, the forex reserves are running at an all-time low which has added to the conundrum.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The release of the grim figures came on the same day as global credit rating agency Moody's, in its report, downgraded Pakistan's local and foreign currency credit ratings from Caa1 to Caa3.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The decision to downgrade the ratings is driven by Moody's assessment that Pakistan's increasingly fragile liquidity and external position significantly raises default risks to a level consistent with a Caa3 rating," the agency said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The rating is expected to hurt the position of the Pakistani government which is currently involved in talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to secure a $1 billion bailout package.&nbsp;</p>
