<p>Mr Christmas LLC and the Consumer Product Safety Commission have been warning customers regarding these gadgets which have been produced by Mr. Christmas LLC, who is from Memphis, Tennessee, because they contain wireless receivers which carry the chances of overheating after getting connected to any outlet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The&nbsp;company received an alert regarding 10 instances of overheating, one of which also caused a fire. No one suffered injuries in the incident and the recall was voluntarily initiated&nbsp;by Mr. Christmas.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The company has appealed to the customers to stop using the product immediately and give it back to the shop where they purchased it, which will give them a full refund.</p>

<p>The recall will impact around 44,600 units sold at Walmart, Target and Cracker Barrel stores as well as online. The shops had sold the affected batch between July and November.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"This recall involves a decorative tree light controller that operates wirelessly to turn on holiday lights on a tree. The decorative controller contains two parts: a lever or a switch that can be pulled to turn the holiday lights on or off, and a separate white receiver that plugs into an outlet and into which the tree's holiday lights are plugged. The controller sold at Walmart and Cracker Barrel is shaped like a green, red and white peppermint candy with a candy cane on/off lever, and displays the words 'Christmas Light Controller'," read the statement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The controller sold at Target is sold under the Wondershop™ brand and is shaped like a square on/off switch box with green, red and white balls, and displays the words 'Tree Lighting Switch.' The white wireless receptacle that is plugged into an outlet contains the words "Mr. Christmas" and one of these three model numbers printed on the white receptacle: 39611, 39612 or 39630," it added.&nbsp;</p>

UK authorities earlier this week unveiled what is being termed as one of the biggest espionage scandals in recent history, involving 50-year-old Chinese businessman Yang Tengbo, linked to an arm of the Chinese Communist Party that is used to influence foreign entities.</p>

<p>Reacting to the reports, a spokesperson for the Chinese foreign ministry said Tuesday (Dec 17) that the "accusations of so-called Chinese espionage are preposterous". Lin Jian added, “The development of China-UK relations is in the common interests of both countries and is also conducive to promoting world economic growth and responding to global challenges."</p>

<p>Earlier, Yang himself had refuted the allegations, saying he had done nothing wrong or unlawful", and had "fallen victim" to a changing "political climate".</p>

<p>China has been constructing the largest artificial island airport in the world to solidify the position of the northeastern city as a regional transport hub.</p>

<p>Dalian Jinzhouwan International Airport will be built on an entire island which is spread over an area of 20 sq km (7.72 square miles), as per the website of Liaoning provincial government.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This airport will be bigger than the 10.5 sq km Kansai Airport near Osaka, Japan and the 12.48 sq km Hong Kong International Airport, which occupies artificial islands.</p>

<p>“For Dalian people to say it’s the largest, that’s exactly what it is,” said aviation consultancy founder Li Hanming.</p>

<p>The airport, which is under construction, will work as the port city of Dalian because its location will bring business from nearby South Korea and Japan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jinzhouwan was the first airport which was built on an offshore artificial island in mainland China, It will now have four runways and a 900,000 square metre (9.69 million sq ft) terminal, said the website.</p>

<p>It stated that the airport would turn into a “regional air transport hub” with a “superior geographic location”.</p>

<h2><strong>All about the new artificial island airport&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>The airport's terminal buildings will be able to accommodate 43 million passengers every year initially, which is more than double in comparison to the existing airport. Eventually, the terminal's capacity will increase to 80 million every year, as per Airports Council International, which is a global industry group with headquarters in Canada.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It said that every year one million tonnes of cargo will later be able to pass through the airport.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Katz's predecessor Yoav Gallant had voiced firm opposition to any prolonged Israeli control of Gaza, from which Israel withdrew troops and settlers in 2005 after decades of direct rule.</p>
