<p>China has strongly refuted UK claims that an alleged spy linked to the United Front Work Department built close ties with Prince Andrew. UK authorities earlier this week unveiled what is being termed as one of the biggest espionage scandals in recent history, involving 50-year-old Chinese businessman Yang Tengbo, linked to an arm of the Chinese Communist Party that is used to influence foreign entities.</p></p>
<p>Reacting to the reports, a spokesperson for the Chinese foreign ministry said Tuesday (Dec 17) that the "accusations of so-called Chinese espionage are preposterous". Lin Jian added, “The development of China-UK relations is in the common interests of both countries and is also conducive to promoting world economic growth and responding to global challenges."</p>
<p>Earlier, Yang himself had refuted the allegations, saying he had done nothing wrong or unlawful", and had "fallen victim" to a changing "political climate".</p>

According to UK media, Yang would also hold meetings with Conservative prime ministers David Cameron and Theresa May.</p>
<p>He was also once invited to Prince Andrew’s birthday party. The Chinese businessman and alleged spy is believed to be a member of Pitch@Palace China, an initiative by Prince Andrew to support entrepreneurs. Yang was first granted permission to work in the UK in the year 2013 when he claimed he considered Britain his second home.</p>

The man's comment section was subsequently flooded with comments like “Welcome back Luigi” and more as the users on Instagram continued pointing out the visibly striking similarities between him and Mangione. </p>

<p>Jinzhouwan was the first airport which was built on an offshore artificial island in mainland China, It will now have four runways and a 900,000 square metre (9.69 million sq ft) terminal, said the website.</p>
<p>It stated that the airport would turn into a “regional air transport hub” with a “superior geographic location”.</p>

<p>The airport's terminal buildings will be able to accommodate 43 million passengers every year initially, which is more than double in comparison to the existing airport. <p>The NIA stated that passport holders from 54 countries, which includes Australia, Japan, the United States and countries across Europe, can now remain in some areas of mainland China for up to 10 days when transiting through one of the 60 international ports of the country. </p>

<p>Baqaei also said that Iran's rival Israel, which has conducted hundreds of air strikes in Syria since Assad's fall and sent troops into a UN-patrolled buffer zone, "severely violated Syria's territorial integrity".</p>

<p>A joint investigation team including police and the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) was trying to access computer servers of the presidential office’s security service to get records of phones including one used by the police commissioner, Yonhap reported.</p>
<p>Earlier, South Korean prosecutors on Tuesday ordered suspended President Yoon Suk Yeol to appear by the weekend for questioning over his controversial martial law attempt, warning that he could face arrest if he fails to comply, reported Yonhap News Agency.</p>
<p>Yoon, who was impeached by parliament on Saturday (Dec 14) in the second attempt b lawmakers after his martial law bid failed, is under investigation for alleged insurrection. </p>
<p>Both prosecutors and a joint team of police, defence ministry officials, and anti-corruption investigators are involved in the probe. If convicted, Yoon and his close allies could face life imprisonment—or even the death penalty.  </p>
