Yamuna waters begin to recede
This week Delhi experienced something that it did not experience for four decades. Parts of the Indian Capital were flooded by an overflowing Yamuna River. Home, streets, and markets all it was inundated prompting an evacuation of hundreds from low-lying areas of the city. The administration scrambled to provide basic necessities like food and water to the affected.
