United Kingdom: Northern Ireland protocol bill passes commons vote

Members of the UK parliament have voted in favor of a bill that would give ministers power to change parts of the Brexit deal. 295 votes to 221, parliament gave an initial green light to scrapping parts of the Northern Ireland protocol despite a backlash from the European Union.
