Taiwan Launches Website to Collect Intelligence From Chinese Nationals

Taiwan’s National Security Bureau (NSB) has launched a new online platform that allows Chinese nationals to submit intelligence-related information on political, military, economic, and social developments in China. The website, reportedly inspired by intelligence practices in countries like the United States, United Kingdom, and Israel, aims to expand Taiwan’s intelligence-gathering capabilities. Officials say the move is in line with the National Intelligence Services Act and is designed to diversify information sources amid rising regional tensions. The development marks a significant step in Taiwan’s evolving intelligence strategy as cross-strait relations remain highly sensitive.
