Sri Lanka extends crackdown on freedom of speech of civil servants

The island government has now ordered civil servants to not express their opinions on social media. The move comes after the claims of dozens of school children fainting due to lack of food and surfaced, provincial health officials and teachers blamed the dire economic crisis in the country, however the authorities dismissed the claim of malnutrition.
