Russia has reportedly made a proposal to India for using Indian airlines to operate on local routes within Russia. Western sanctions have reportedly cut off Russia’s access to the U.S. and European aircraft manufacturers and component supplies. This has reportedly not only prevented new aircraft from being added but also led to several existing ones being grounded due to the lack of software upgrades or spare parts.
