On Russia's Naval day, Russian president Vladimir Putin has signed a new naval doctrine which casts United States as Russia's main rival. Further outlining Russia's global maritime ambitions in areas such as the arctic and the Black sea, the Russian president further cautioned on how Russia had the military clout to defeat any potential aggressors.
