As the price of gold continues to rise, visitors to Dubai's famed market are relegated to window shopping. A Bloomberg special report quoting businesses in Dubai showed a clear downtrend. The sales at Dubai's famous gold shops have taken a hit as the yellow metal continues its record run, with prices now surpassing $2,200 per ounce.
