RBI to make a record transfer of $32 billion to government

The Reserve Bank of India's board on Friday approved the transfer of a record dividend to the government. The Indian central bank will transfer 2.69 trillion rupees, or 32 billion dollars, to the government, exceeding the budgeted estimate of 2.56 trillion rupees.
