Nigeria: 287 students abducted, armed groups target villagers & travellers for huge ransom

At least 287 people were taken hostage by gunmen on Thursday, March 7, when they broke into a school in the northwest of the country, according to the headmaster, who informed authorities that this was the country's second mass kidnapping in less than a week.
