After almost 9 months Nepal has lifted its ban on TikTok, last year in November then Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal led government banned the Chinese owned app citing concerns about TikTok's negative impact on the society. TikTok's parent company ByteDance was accused of disturbing the country's social harmony, goodwill and diffusing indecent materials.
